"No, what did you do?" She screamed.

"He almost killed me, what was I supposed to do?" I answered.

"The others are not here, we should go before they catch us."

"Lyn, we can't leave his body like this."

"What do you want us to do?"

"Hide him somewhere, or bury him. I don't know, but if they see him dead they won't leave us alone. Those guys are dangerous."

"They won't leave us alone anyway."

"Trust me, if they saw his body they will kill us both."

"Alright, but let's do it quick. There isn't much time before they find us."

"I'll hold his legs while you hold his arms, and we push him deep into the woods."

"Let's go," I said as I held his hands.

We walked into the woods holding the dead body. The trees were witnessing the crime as it happened. My hands started sweating, my heart started beating like a drum; it was loud enough that I hear it as I'm walking. His hands were slipping from mine it was hard to keep up, but she seemed relaxed while doing it. We were now in the core of the dark woods with a dead body. How the fuck did you end up here Lyn? We dropped the body on the floor as we started digging deep into the mud with our hands.

The hole started shaping, it got deeper and deeper as we dug faster. The moonlight was the only light that guided us through the process. As time passed by, we were done digging, we now have a deep hole in the middle of the woods.

"Give me a hand with this." She said as she held his arms.

I held his legs, and we both pushed him into the hole that we both dug together. We threw the mud that we dug back into the hole. We were done, I just committed a crime for the first time in my life, in Trinel.

"We need to keep moving, they may find us any second." She said.

"Yeah, yeah let's go," I answered as I followed her.

We walked through the night until the dawn made its way through the navy clouds. We made it out of the woods safely. It was a rough night; my eyes were closing by themselves. We walked through the well-lit pathway until I saw the mansion that's supposed to be mine. I walked up to the tall door, and before I place my muddy index finger on the fingerprint machine, I cleaned my finger by rubbing it on my black shirt. I placed my half clean index finger on the fingerprint machine, and a green light shone brightly.

I pushed the door and got into the mansion. My eyes couldn't keep up with the beauty of that mansion, it was like a movie set, there's no way this mansion is real. The classy off-white chandelier was hung on the ceiling. The long-carpeted staircase that was located at the end of the reception area looked so elegant. The round black table that was located in the heart of the reception area had a transparent vase with roses on top of it. The balcony on top was staring at me. This is my home now. No more poverty, no more work until night falls and get low salary days, no more worries about what my future will look like.

I was in my own bubble that I forgot the lady that was standing behind me waiting for me to introduce her to my mansion. I turned around and smiled at her beautiful face.

"Oh, sorry, forgot to welcome you formally into my mansion," I said as I looked her in the eyes.

"It's fine, but you still have to do so." She replied as she smiled.

"Alright, go out of the door, and ring the bell," I said as I walked her to the door.

I closed the door and waited for her to ring the bell. I was so excited to start this new life. I guess it's true, dreams do come true on the right time. There was nothing that could change this smile off my face, I finally found my happiness after the endless sadness that I lived with. Everything was almost perfect, I've never wished for anything more in my life. The positivity hugged my soul. But my family I can't just leave them, I won't ever be happy having all of this on my own.

I stood by the door smiling, still waiting for her to ring the bell, but she never did. I opened the door quickly, she wasn't there. This is unreal, she was just here seconds ago, where did she go? What if something happened to her? What should I do now? Many questions were on my mind, I wasn't concentrating. I didn't hear anything while I was waiting, how did she disappear without me hearing her footsteps? She must've walked down the stairs to get out. I was busy investigating the scene that I didn't notice the black box and the letter above it that were right next to my foot.
