Groaning, Ozone sat up from where he had landed on his back on the pavement. Rubbing his head, the hairless cat suddenly remembered that he and Tiberius had been shot out of the sky. There was no doubt that Mason and his cronies were on their way. Scrambling to his paws, Ozone tried to run but the chain on his left hindpaw held him back. Turning around, he dashed over to Tiberius, who was laying still on the ground.

"Dude, we have to go now. Mason will be here any second," Ozone hissed quietly, gently shaking Tiberius's shoulder. The old hawk let out a loud whimper of pain. Confused, Ozone glanced down at the pavement to see a small puddle of blood. And it was growing. "Oh god..." the hairless cat murmured under his breath, averting his gaze. He could hear Mason and his henchmen coming closer.

Looking around, Ozone just then saw something that lit up a lightbulb in his head...
