Blinking his green eyes open, Ozone stretched. Showing off his white teeth as he yawned, the hairless cat noticed that the van was slowly easing to a stop. "About time," he murmured, having had lost track of time. Getting to his feet, he started to walk over to the entrance when the chain on his hindleg held him back. Sighing, Ozone looked over his shoulder.

Barely moving, Tiberius looked like he had passed away in his sleep. But Ozone could tell by the slight rise and fall of his sides that the old hawk was still alive. And it was evident that he was in great pain. Padding over quietly, Ozone also noticed that the hawk was twitching in his sleep. Then came the whimpers. Confused, Ozone slowly reached out a paw and was about to shake Tiberius's uninjured shoulder gently when the old hawk jolted awake. Looking around fearfully, his light brown eyes landed on the hairless cat. Next thing Ozone knew, he was struggling to breathe.

"Dude, it's me, Ozone! Snap out of it!" Ozone cried, weakly gasping for air. Breathing hard, Tiberius released his hold. As the feline took in deep breaths, the hawk mumbled, "Sorry, I thought you were someone else..."

"Nightmare?" Ozone rasped, his paw rubbing his throat.

"Shut up."

"Yeah, okay."

"Where are we?"

Biting his lip, Ozone murmured, "I'm not sure. Let's find out." Without another word, he moved towards the entrance, Tiberius close behind him.
