Luckily for Ozone, he could swim. And he had managed to get some air before becoming submerged under the water. Now, every part of his body was fighting the urge not to head back up to the surface. He also had to keep Tiberius from going back up too. Even though his lungs were beginning to lose air quickly, he didn't want to head back to get more because, for all the hairless cat knew, Mason could still be up on the dock, waiting. Ozone would rather drown than get shot in the head by a psychopath.

After what felt like hours, Ozone finally decided to risk heading up. Cautiously, he resurfaced and gasped for air. He instantly covered his head, fearing that he would get shot. However, nothing happened. Looking around, he saw that Mason and his henchmen had left the scene. The hairless cat breathed a sigh of relief.

"We missed our ride," a voice grumbled. Turning to his left, Ozone saw that Tiberius was clinging for dear life to the side of the dock. Looking to his right, his heart plummeted when he saw the ferry setting off on its voyage. "Great..." he muttered, flicking his ear in irritation. Just then, he felt something grab him by the neck and pull him out of the water. Laying on his back, Ozone saw that it was Tiberius who had done that. The old hawk collapsed on the dock, exhausted. Sighing long and hard, Ozone gazed up at the sky above them.

Suddenly, an idea popped into Ozone's mind as the hairless cat turned towards Tiberius and asked, "How do you feel about flying?" The hawk's eyes widened as he muttered, "What?!"
