IT'S TIME FOR BEING EMOTIONALLY WRECKED!!
*ahem* I mean, this chapter takes place during "Not What He Seems".

Y/N's POV:
Once again, I was at the Mystery Shack for another sleepover with Mabel. It was about 7:00 in the morning when Mabel decided to wake up me and Dipper. She must've been on Mabel Juice again or something, as she was happily skipping down the Shack's halls. I, on the other hand, was still half asleep and kept bumping into various things. She led us towards a small broom closet.
"Okay so, I was opening random doors, when I found something AMAZING!" Mabel squealed.
I rubbed my eyes. "This better be worth waking up at 7 am in the morning, Mabel."
Excitedly, she opened the door. "Feast your eyes!" She smiled as she revealed the closet to be full of various fireworks.
"Woah!" Dipper and I gasped.
"You know what this means guys?" Mabel smirked.
"CRAZY ROOFTOP FIREWORKS PARTY!" We all said in unison, and laughed.
"Not so fast, kids!" A familiar voice said, sternly. We were caught by Stan! "There's no way you're setting off those dangerous, illegal fireworks... Without me."
And so, we grabbed the various explosives along with a cooler of popsicles and headed up to the roof. "I AM THE GOD OF DESTRUCTION!" Mabel shouted to the world before letting off one of the fireworks. I then noticed a familiar sheriff's car pulling up to the Shack.
"Look out guys, here comes the fun police." I grumbled.
"Do you have a permit for those?" Sheriff Blubs folded his arms.
"Uh, do you have a permit for being totally lame?" Stan called back to them and we all roared in laughter.
Sheriff Blubs chuckled. "Well I can't argue with that, carry on."
"We should probably clean this up..." Stan said once the police had left.
Mabel grinned. "With water balloons?" She suggested. We filled up our water balloons and soon, a water balloon war broke out. Originally, I had teamed up with Dipper, that is, until I had turned against him and joined Mabel. Together, we pummelled him with water balloons.
"Traitor!" Dipper laughs before being hit in the head with a balloon.
"Headshot!" I yell, running about with water balloons in each hand. We created a small pile of water balloons and jumped into it with a loud splash.
"To Grunkle Stan!" Mabel smiled once we recovered. "Not just a great uncle!"
"But the greatest!" We all cheered. Stan laughed for a moment before his expression turned solemn.
"Is something wrong, Mr. Pines?" I piped up.
He sighed. "Kids... There's something I should tell you. It's uh, well, it's complicated." He looked down at us nervously. "I... I'm gonna go refresh my soda." He said quickly before walking away.
"What was that all about?" Mabel looked confused.
"I don't know..." Dipper stared at his feet. I then heard something funny. It sounded almost like... Helicopters? I looked up at the sky.
"Uh... Guys?" I said nervously, looking up. Dipper and Mabel gasped. There were at least four, no- five black helicopters flying above the Shack. I looked around us to see that we were surrounded by agents in dark suits, all carrying strange guns. What was going on?!
"Kids are secure! Roof team, go!" One of the men shouted into a walkie-talkie. From the helicopters, were more armed men who slid down ropes, breaking through the windows to get into the Shack. Jeez, have these guys ever heard of a door? Oh wait. They're storming through it as I think.
The agents began to surround the Shack with police tape and Dipper, Mabel and I watched as Stan was pressed onto a police car, handcuffed. We cautiously neared him as two men in suits emerged.
"The government guys?!" Dipper exclaimed. "I though you were eaten by zombies!"
"We survived." One of the men said, before proceeding to Stan with a tablet. "This is security footage of a government waste facility. At 0400 hours last night, someone robbed three hundred gallons of toxic waste."
"What?!" Stan appeared shocked. "You thought that was me?!"
"Don't play dumb with us, Pines." The agent spat.
"No! Last night I was re-stocking the gift shop, I swear!" He protested, but was shoved into a police car.
"Grunkle Stan!" Mabel cried.
"No, no, no - you've got the wrong guy!" I said to the government guys. "Sure, he may shoplift the occasional tangerine but he's no supervillain!"
The man knelt down to us. "Listen, kid, we've been watching this family all summer and we've seen some pretty disturbing things, but there is nothing as dangerous as what your uncle is hiding. Somewhere hidden in this Shack is a doomsday device!"
I stared at Mabel and Dipper in disbelief. The man ordered the other to take Mabel and Dipper, I also having to go with them for knowing to much information. Soon, we were guided to a separate vehicle, watching as they took away Stanford Pines.

We had managed to escape the government agents and made our way to the Shack. Mabel took her grappling hook, shooting towards the Shack and we ziplined our way in. Sneaking past guards and police, we made it to Stan's office, creaking open the door and triple locking it once we were in. We then began to search for surveillance tapes to prove Stan innocent. Mabel then found a hidden switch and pulled it, revealing the surveillance tapes along with a small television.
"Yes!" We cheered in unison. The tape in the VHS player was labelled "Gift Shop - Tuesday". This was it! We can finally prove Stan innocent! We fast forwarded it to 6:45, where Stan was re-stocking.
"Look! Stan was re-stocking just like he said! And the date shows this was last night!" Dipper smiled. "It's proof! He's innocent!"
I watched the tape and saw Stan exit the gift shop afterwards. I then continued to fast-forward it until 5:00 a.m. There was a guy in a yellow suit wheelbarrowing what seemed to be a barrel into the gift shop. Oh no...
"D-Don't panic!" Mabel laughed nervously. "That could be anyone in that suit!"
The figure dropped a barrel onto his foot. "HOT BELGIAN WAFFLES! Wait... I'm alone! I can swear for real! SON OF A-" Mabel quickly covered her ears as I turned the screen off.
"Yep... That's him..." I sighed. Dipper pulled a box from the cabinet. He turned on the desk light and we began to look through the box.
"What's all this?" Mabel looked through the papers and passports.
"These are fake IDs! You wouldn't need these unless you were trying to hid your real identity!" Dipper frowned. I then found a clip of a newspaper article in the box. Carefully I picked it up, stumbling back one I had read the headline.
'STAN PINES DEAD'
We read through the article. "Unamed grifter at large?" Dipper thought out loud.
"But why would they call him unamed?" Mabel stared at the paper.
"What if... Stan... Isn't Stan?!" I bit my lip as the twins looked at eachother in horror.
"I don't understand! This doesn't make any sense!" Dipper mumbled to himself and began to pace around the room.
"There's gotta be some answers in here somewhere!" Mabel shook through the box until a small slip of paper fell out. "Code to hideout?" She read.
"A1...B...C3?" I stared at the paper.
Mabel looked at me in shock. "That's it! The vending machine!" She exclaimed. We ran to the vending machine as quickly as we could to find Soos blocking it.
"Soos! We need to get to the vending machine." I said.
"Sorry, dudes. I have special orders from Mr. Pines to guard this machine!"
"Look, man, Stan's hiding something from us. We need to get through!"
"I'm sorry, guys, but I told Stan I'd protect this with my life!"
I looked at Mabel and Dipper and we nodded in unison. Mabel used her attack glitter and we charged towards the vending machine. Soos blocked us as best as he could but Dipper managed to enter the code. The vending machine opened like a door, and we were sent flying with a gust of air. Once the smoke cleared, we were greeted with a secret entrance. Cautiously, Soos took a lamp and lead us down the staircase. We went down an old elevator to find a secret, underground lab with various machines.
"Okay, okay! So he has a secret lab! Everyone had secrets." Mabel smiled nervously. "He still loves us all. He's still Stan."
I looked down at the table and my hand clapped over my mouth. "Dipper..." There on the table, were the other two journals.
"It can't be! All this time Stan had them?! I can't believe it! Why would he have those journals!" Dipper yelled, angry. He opened the journals to reveal blueprints to a machine. Underneath the blacklight they contained messages of global destruction. If the machine was activated, our universe could be torn apart! I flipped through the pages until I found a manual override.
"Quickly! We have to shut it down!" I yelled and ran off into the other room. We found the manual override and turned the keys at the same time. To our luck, a shut down switch popped up!
"This all ends... Here!" Just as Dipper had his hand above the switch, another voice called out from behind him.
"DON'T TOUCH THAT BUTTON!!" Sure enough, Stan was standing at the doorway, breathing heavily. "Dipper, just back away... Please don't press that shut down button, you gotta trust me!"
"And I should trust you, why?!" Dipper yelled back. "After you stole radioactive waste? After you lied to us all summer?! I don't even know who you are!"
"I know this all seems nuts, but I need that machine to stay on! I-If you'd just let me explain-" He was interrupted by a slow rumbling from the ground. Then, things began to get weird. As the machine spun faster and faster, we began to slowly levitate from the ground. What was going on?! We had less then 35 seconds to shut down the machine! I made my way to try and reach the button, but was unable to make it. I then saw Mabel, whose foot was caught by a wire.
"Mabel! Hurry! Shut it down!" Dipper yelled. Grabbing onto the wire, Mabel began to pull herself closer to the button. Stan then began to head towards her once she grabbed onto the button.
"Mabel, no! Stop!" He said before being tackled by Soos, followed by Dipper. I had braced myself onto a piece of wood, looking back and forth at Mabel and Stan. What if he was right? What if he has a reason behind all of this?!
"Mabel!! Shut it down!!" Dipper shouted.
"No you can't! You gotta trust me!!" Stan yelled back.
Mabel began to sniffle. "Grunkle Stan... I don't even know if you're my Grunkle..." She mumbled as tears began to form. It was always upsetting for me to see Mabel cry. "I wanna believe you but..."
"Then listen to me," Stan quickly spoke. "Remember when I said I needed to tell you guys something?" He was interrupted by the portal which had blasted the three into the wall. I had my grip on the wood, but barely.
"I wanted to say that you're gonna hear some bad things about me, and some of them are true! But trust me- everything I've worked for, everything I care about... It's all for this family!"
"Mabel what if he's lying?! This thing could destroy the universe, listen to your head!" Dipper growled.
"Look into my eyes Mabel, you really think I'm a bad guy?!"
Mabel's lip began to quiver and her hand was shaking over the button. She then turned to me. I sighed and bit my lip. "Do... Do what your heart tells you too..."
Dipper turned towards me. "Are you crazy?! Y/N, he's lying!! Mabel, shut it down - NOW!!" The countdown began and sparks flew from the portal. Mabel took one last look at the man before her.
"Grunkle Stan..." She released her hands from the button, levitating into the air. "I trust you."
"MABEL ARE YOU CRAZY?! WE'RE ALL GONNA-" Before Dipper could finish his sentence, the room was filled with a flash of white light and all I can remember hearing, is screaming. Just as quickly as it began, gravity returned and we all fell towards the ground. We all watched the portal and a figure emerged from it. It walked towards us, picking up one of the journals and placing it in his jacket.
"W-What? Who is that?" Dipper croaked.
Stan looked up at the figure in shock. "The author of the journals... My brother."
