Moon's POV

It's been 28 days since she left to get her name. She only has 2 days left. Will she ever come home? I lay awake thinking about what might happen to her. What if she comes home hurt? OR what if the Great Dragon doesn't accept her as a full dragon? What can can I do then?

TIME SKIP TO THE MORNING

I woke up to excited sounds outside. I ran out to see what the fuss was about when I see HER!!! And..... a dragon-boy? The boy-dragon is carrying her. She lands softly on the sand in the middle of the camp. "You came back!!!" I sayed.

"From now on I will be known as Midnight, the dark wielder!" She replied. She looked at me and smiled from horn to horn. 

"Midnight, Midnight, Midnight" The camp began to chant. She began to look around.

"Where's Sasha?" She asked

"M-MIdnight, " I began, "your mother is...extremely ill."

"WHAT!!! I Must see her." She said as she ran off.

I grabbed her shoulder. "I'm afraid they won't let you. It's red-dragon fever."

"I-Is she g-going to b-be o-okay?" She shakily asked

"We don't know"

"I've got to think." She sighed as she walked away. I feel so sorry for her. I know how she feels too. My brother died of red-dragon fever a long time ago. As I was finishing my thought the dragon-boy come up to me.

"So, " He began, "are you her...brother?"

"Boyfriend" I told him.

Cam's POV

Boyfriend. BOYfriend. BOYFRIEND! I just wanted to scream out to the heavens above. This can't be happening to me! I thought she was mine.

Why is the universe so mean to me?
