Cameron's POV

I walked into the small den that the dragon was sleeping in. I lightly pushed her. "Hey, hey its time to go." She looked up and smiled at me. 

We walked outside. It was still dark. The sun was just starting to rise. "Here we go!" I said at I lifted my wings. I grabbed her by the wrists and we began to fly through the air. She would point to where to go and I would go there. 

Time skip brought to you be laziness

We soon arrived at the mountain. 

"We have to climb it. We can't fly to the top. Its too dangerous." She explained

"Okay."  I said and flew to the nearest edge of the mountain.

About 3/4ths of the way up she pointed to a small cave in the side of the mountain. 

"Sleep here. I must do the rest alone. Please...don't leave. I will need you to help me get back."

"I won't leave." I promised 

"Okay. Thanks." She walked off into the snow.

Dragon POV

I made my way up the rest of the mountain. I saw the peak and climbed to rest of the way up. There was nothing but a clear stone. I laid down and fell asleep.

I woke up and I was looking at the midnight sky. 

"Well, Well, Well. If it isn't the newest Dark wielder. Welcome."

I turned around to see to see a huge grey dragon looking at me. Oh God. Its the great dragon. I froze. 

"Here you go. You have definitely earned it." He reached out his old hands and gave me a necklace with a round rock on it. The rock was black and had a blue X on it.

"From now on you are a true Dragon. Welcome Midnight."

Cameron's POV 

I waited all night for her to return. What if she got hurt? She can't fly! What if... What if...

I heard footsteps outside of the the cave. I picked up a sharp icicle. Like that could help me against a predator. "D-Dragon?" I asked

"Please, call me Midnight." She said as she stepped into the light. Her eyes and her amulet started to glow in the moonlight.
