Bruce.

The days went by real smooth. Anna was more open about her feelings and we were now having a good bond.

But not all good things last for long.

**FLASH BACK**

I got call from the spy and he asked me to meet him some place as he wanted to show me something.

I set a meeting in a restaurant for him and we met there.

"So what was that you wanted to show me" I asked him.

He pushed a envelop infront of me which had some letters in it.

A few were handwritten and a few were typed.

"What is all this?" I asked him confused.

"Sir the typed once are the letters Anna received from her home that is her Aunt. And the hand written are the once Anna's dad use to write to Anna." He explained.

But it did not make any sence.

"And how is this a  important clue of your investigation." I asked him.

"Sir Anna only received the typed letters and never received the hand written once. That means the letters written by Anna's dad never reached Anna."

What the heck.....

This women is sick why would she want to keep a daughter and father away from each other.

She is one sick women who needs to learn some good manners.

After the meet I went home.

"Anna!" I yelled from down.

"Yes" Anna replied and her voice came from the kitchen.

I rushed there.

"Anna change we need to go some place soon" I said her.

"Bruce are you out of your mind now? You asked me to cook a lavish dinner for you and you say we need to go out now. You literally threaten me to do this. I'm not going anywhere even if I have to eat this whole food" she said.

"Anna, I'm not taking you out for dinner I just want you to meet someone, it's important. I promise we will come back and have the dinner" I said in a calm tone which tensed Anna.

This is what I have learnt about her. Every time I talk in a calm tone she things there is something wrong.

"Is everything alright?" Like I assumed she questioned me.

"Yes Anna everything is fine. I want you to come with me it's a little important so we need to be quick" I said Anna and she changed and came down.

"I'm ready" she said.

As much as I wanted to admire her for listening to me at the same time I wanted to go some where very important.

I drove to the destination as soon as possible.

"Bruce what are we doing here?" Anna asked once she saw her aunt's house.

"You will know" I said and took her inside.

Once we reached her Aunt obviously had a shocking look.

"What a pleasant surprise Anna." She faked the excitement once she saw us.

She came and hugged Anna.

What a drama queen this lady. I so very wanted to chop her head off.

"What brings you here?" She asked Anna once she let her out of the hug.

"I guess there is something that you need to share with Anna.
Ms.Victoria" I said to her.

"Hahaha..... what are you talking about Bruce. Anna and I have been sharing everything to each other. Right Anna?" She was now making me sick of her dramatic tones.

"Come to the point and tell Anna the truth" I almost yelled at her.

"What truth are we talking about here. Bruce what's going on?" Anna asked me.

Now she was looking at me and I had no other option but to reveal the most important secret of Anna that was kept hidden from her for a very very long time now.

"Anna your father wrote letters to you regularly" I said and Anna was stunned with those words.

"I'm sorry it has to come out this way, but Victoria has been hiding all those letters from you for ages now." I said Anna.

Meanwhile Victoria was all pale now. She was shocked and surprised as she was exposed  today.

"Yes I use to receive them but, it was from Victoria. Not from dad" Anna said.

"Anna you are far away from the reality. Tell me one thing the letters you received were typed or written" I asked Anna.

Now Victoria was getting more nervous.

"They were all typed, Bruce what are you trying to prove now?" Anna questioned me.

"Anna your father personally wrote letters to you. He never typed them" as soon as I said that Victoria was doomed.

"What are you trying to say Bruce?" Victoria asked me.

"Why have you been lieing to Anna what have you got out of it? She deserve to know the truth, she deserves to know what her father thought about her. Tell her the truth show her the damn letters" I yelled at her now.

Anna looked pale now. She had no idea what was going on but after knowing that, it had to do something with her dad and her relation she got more curious.

"Victoria what is Bruce talking about. Did dad write letters to me?" She asked Victoria.

"I can explain it all dear just listen to me" she started creating a scean now.

"Victoria tell her the truth!"  I yelled.

Anna was now looking at Victoria all shocked.

Victoria was in great trouble now she had no way to lie or change the truth.

"Anna listen to me..."

"Show me those letter Victoria and don't lie to me now" Anna cut her off and asked for the letters.

"Anna I don't...."

"You will do it yourself or should call my men to do it?" I warned Victoria.

"No.. I'll get them." She said.

That was it. Now Anna will know the reality about her Aunt and also her father.

She came out after a while with a box.

She handed that box to Anna with trembling hands.

Anna took it and looked at me.

"Go on.. read it. Those were for you" I said assuring Anna.

Anna took a long breath and picked a letter and started reading it.

Her expression changed after reading one letter. She then took the other one and read it.

She had tears in her eyes now, I'm sure it was emotional for her to know what her father actually felt for her.

"That was the reason I manipulated those letters and never posted it to you Anna" Victoria said.

Why the hell did she say that. She is busted now and she still has the gutts to say it and save herself.

"I did not wanted you to know what you father wrote I knew it would only bring pain to you" Victoria said.

"Pain... are you mad, Anna should be happy reading them. How could you do this to her. She needs to know what her father felt for her. How can you be so cunning what wrong had she done to you......"

"Stop it!" Anna yelled cutting me off.

"Anna I'm sorry darling I never wanted it to reach you. Since Bruce wanted it I got them out" Victoria said.

Anna had her face covered  with tears.

"Why Bruce? Why did you do this to me?" Anna asked me.

"Anna I just wanted you to know the truth" I said her.

"Truth was, as clear as it is written in these letters. My father hated me Bruce he never loved me he had always blamed me for my mother's death. I had accepted that reality. But why this why all of it now Bruce what are you trying to prove. Victoria had hidden it to make me less upset but you being yourself won't allow me stay happy ever" Anna said while crying.

I did not understand what was going on. I took that  box and picked a letter and started reading it. Those letters had only hatred.

How can this be possible. All this was out of my expectations.

"That's it I'm no longer going to be here. I can't stay with you any more. You wanted things to go smoothly I had accepted that.  We were good Bruce everything was just fine. Why this? Why did you do this to me. Why you do this to me all the time." Anna said while walking out of the house.

I had to run behind her. I had no idea what was going on. I wanted to kill that women right there but I had to take care of Anna now.

"Anna please stop.... Anna listen to me." I ran behind her and held her hand.

"Anna please listen to me. Let's go home and sort this please just for once let me explain myself please" I requested and to my luck Anna simply sat in the car.

I drove back home still wondering what actually happen.

Once we reached home Anna went to her room I did not wanted to stop her. She needed time and I too had messed it up big time.

I was pulled form my thoughts when my phone started ringing. I picked the call without seeing the caller I'd.

"So sad huh Bruce, you thought you could trap me that easily. I have been playing this father daughter hatred game from ages now. You think you could make me loose. Guess what I won't let that happen. What you did to my son was wrong and you just wait and watch how Anna will walk out of your life." She ended the call even before I could say anything.

**END OF FLASHBACK"

I have no idea what to do now, I thought I could get truth out of her very easily. But she is more cunning than I thought.

I'll have to be careful next time.

But before that I need to talk to Anna. I don't know how she will react for all of this.

I hope things don't get worse.

In my profile it shows the rank #65 in romance.

But it's ranked differently in other person's profile. This was brought to my notice by my sister who is on wattpad too.

So guys please help me out with this difference and let me know what's the ranking in your profile.
