Heyyy beautiful people!

I think one of the most terrifying things about loving someone is knowing that there is no guarantee they will love you in the same way.

You can know everything about a person. You can memorize the sound of their laughter, the way their voice changes when they're tired, the stories they've told a hundred times, and all the little things they don't even realize you've noticed. You can carry years of memories with someone inside your heart.

And still, they may never choose you.

Falling for Autumn is a story about what happens when all of those memories disappear.

It is about loving someone who no longer remembers being loved by you.

It is about grieving someone who is still standing right in front of you.

But more than anything, this is a story about being chosen.

Because I think there is something incredibly beautiful about the idea that someone could forget every reason they had to love you, every moment that brought you together, every laugh, every secret, and every memory you once shared...

and somehow, find their way back to you anyway.

Maybe love isn't always about remembering. Maybe sometimes, it's about meeting someone all over again and thinking,

There you are. I don't know how I know, but I think I've been looking for you.

So, beautiful person, welcome to Autumn's story.

I hope you laugh with her. I hope you fall in love with her. I hope your heart breaks for her.

And I hope, somewhere between the memories that were lost and the new ones waiting to be made, you remember that sometimes the most beautiful kind of love isn't being remembered.

It's being chosen.

This book is extremely long! It's probably as long as two books combined so if you do not like long ones I wouldn't recommend reading it. I definitely wrote it too long but maybe at some point I can split it into two books and find a good spot near the middle to do that! As of right now, it's just one very long book:)
