We sat around the table having dinner silently, the silence was kind of awkward and there was a noticeable tension in the air. Not wanting to be the one to break the silence, I just did like everyone else and ate quietly.

"Is this what we came here for? To stuff our fucking stomachs? I had to cancel a date tonight for this so-called dinner" Helen said finally breaking the silence. The sound of her voice freaked me out for a moment, it was as though standing in a quiet cemetery and you suddenly hear a voice.

"Was that intended for me? And do I have to remind you not to curse on my table?" Grandmother replied her.

"That was intended for everyone seated on this damn table and for fuck sake granny, we are all fucking adults here". She replied grandma who just sighed not bothering to reply her.

"As much as I'd hate admit that she is right, can you boys just quit acting like kids and talk to each other?" Granny said asking the men on the table.

"Come on grandma, you don't want us ignore our manners while eating. Remember how you taught us not to talk while we eat?" Richard, Will's second brother replied grandma.

I bet this was why Will didn't want to be a part of this dinner, all I can see was a huge fight stirring up. Grandma had no control over them as I see and anyone can lose it at any time.

While all of these talks went on, Will focused on his dinner making sure to avoid everyone. He pretended as though he didn't hear anything they were saying.

"Williams!" Way to look for trouble! Grandma called on Will who had paid them no attention.

"Oh come on grandma! For the first time I might agree with Richard, I'm only trying to stick to the manners you taught us" he told grandma.

"On second thoughts, why don't we just talk and have fun! What do you think Max?" Richard asked Max while glaring at Will like he had some evil plans.

Helen who had started all of these was suddenly the quiet one eating her dinner like she wasn't even here. I must say that woman is a troublemaker.

"I doubt he would want to talk, after all, he feels more accomplished". Max replied Richard.

"Yeah, he accomplished selling off the company our father worked hard to build". Richard said.

Slamming his hand on the table, I could see how infuriated Will was. I would feel the same if I were in his shoes but I wasn't sure reaction would be best. They were all being disrespectful to grandma who set up this dinner.

"See who dares talk, the one who accomplished running the company into bankruptcy! Now I see why father couldn't trust either of you with it". Will shot at his brothers, Richard in particular.

"And ain't you the bastard who sold the company instead of returning it to its old glory?" Max replied!

"Bastard? Really? Last I checked, I own both of our parents blood! Ain't you the real bastard?" Will shot back at Max.

What the fuck?

Max stood up to attack him and he stood right up to him. Grandma slammed the table in an attempt to keep things quiet.

"Can you just keep quiet?" Grandma yelled.

"Let them be granny, you fucking asked for this" Helen replied grandma who shot her a death glare that shut her up.

The men were busy glaring at each other.

"I wouldn't be surprised to find out that you and I do not share the same mother either seeing how you support the bastard more that your own real brother!" Will told Richard.

I tried getting him to keep quiet by tugging on his arms but he kept brushing my hand off. Why wouldn't he just listen to me.

"You know, your woman really wants you staying quiet! The woman seem wiser than you" Richard replied him but instead of continuing the banter, he picked up his phone and turned to me "let's leave".

I looked up at him and back at grandma, wouldn't it be rude to just leave with him in the midst of all these?

"But...."

"Have a good night then" he told me and walked out.

Looking at everyone seated at Will's back as he left, I picked up my purse quickly.

"I'm so sorry grandma but I have to leave with him". I apologized to grandma who just nodded. Helen also gave me that encouraging look to go after him, so I left.

It was crazy how he had already left when I got outside. I didn't take so long to leave after him, how angry could he have been to leave me behind?

"Talking about gentlemen, that my so called brother isn't" I heard Richard say from behind me.

I turned around to see him standing there in all of his glory. I must admit, all of them looked amazingly handsome and hot!

"You know Will really love you, both of you! You really shouldn't do this to each other". I told him only to be replied with laughter. Was I that funny?

"Forget about it love, you would never get it". He replied me.

But I wanted to get it, I wanted to understand why they hated each other so much. Was it more than Will explained to me?

"The truth is, I want to! Do you hate him that much?" I asked him.

"Will is my brother, why should I hate him?" He asked with a smile. "Let me drop you off, it's quite late" he added.

Although I felt quite reluctant to leave with him, it was truly late and he was Will's brother after all, I didn't believe their fight was enough for him to hurt me.

I got in his car and we had petty talks on the way back, he happened not to be as bad as he appears to be. He had deep wounds I must admit and some of them were related to Will.

When we finally arrived, he bid me goodnight with a hug and drove off! I sighed and went inside, I needed to speak with my very pissed off Fiancé.
