I thought I would not get to have a POV of my own before this book come to an end! It's a good thing I was granted the opportunity to express myself. Oh! I'm supposed to talk ablution what is happening with me? I guess that was why I am just getting this opportunity 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Well.... I was returning from work on this very day! Everything had died down, it's been three months after Joy was given sentence and her brother Bob was granted a release.

Kelvin and I got a place of our own, and even though I was not really up for the decision thanks to what Tommy did, Khloe assured me I can always be her house mate if Kelvin ever decided to act like a prick again. She even promised me Kelvin's room!

Chris had been caring for his family and even had Ciara return home. I'm glad he and Khloe handled things like the matured adult they were and Will was also being cooperative, although he get jealous a lot.

Jeremy plans on returning to school, of course after taking enough time and was also being consistent with his sessions at the hospital. Aunt Lanna was being a mother for all and was also taking sessions with Jeremy.

So, I was returning from work when someone suddenly blocked my way.

"Fiona?" I asked in shock! Her stomach was huge now, she should be 6-7 months along now or more, I don't care. The question was what she wanted and why she looked to terrible.

"Hilda, I'm sorry for everything I did, I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but....."

"Life is hard on you uhn? You look like it" I replied with a straight face.

"Tommy disappeared with everything that is mine and even sold the house. I have nowhere to go with my pregnancy! Please help me!" She pleaded with me.

I was going to tell her to go fuck herself but I looked at her huge stomach and felt bad for the baby she was carrying. What if I chased her to the streets and she died? I would never forgive myself.

Then again, I wouldn't allow her into my house with Kelvin, what if she sleeps with him too. She can't go to Khloe's either, there is Will, she could seduce him too. I just couldn't trust her again.

I looked through my wallet and found some money and gave it to her. "Here, you should find an hotel somewhere to stay today until I discuss with Kelvin and Khloe".

"Thank you" she said meekly and left.

I visited Khloe, it would be crazy if I just disappeared again, she might think something terrible happened again. I need to let her know I was leaving.

She was quick to open the door like she was expecting someone, maybe Will because her expression showed it wasn't me.

"Sorry to ruin your expectations" I told her and she smiled.

"At all, come on in" she ushered me in.

After making myself comfortable on her couch and receiving a glass of juice, I decided it was time I told her why I came.

"I'm leaving with mom, Jeremy wants to wait behind" I told her.

Jeremy said he was ready to leave New York for some strange place, there were tons of familiar faces around and he figured it would be better for him.

"When are you leaving?" She asked me surprised at what she must have thought was a sudden decision.

"Tomorrow!" I replied

"That is so soon" she complained

"I just want some time off you know? Mom wanted to be far away of this place where terrible things happened to her as well, so we decided to leave" I explained to her.

She nodded in understanding and cheered me on with a smile.

"Where are you going though?" She asked me. I just shrug in response not wanting to have her visiting anytime soon. When I was ready, I would let her know wherever I was.

"I bet we would meet some day soon" she told me and I nodded too.

It was great saying goodbye to her, even though I had zero plans of ever stepping foot in here I knew somehow someday, we would meet again. I also needed to sort my feelings and maybe fall in live with someone else.

While I was here I love the most precious person to me but then, I got to meet other people who were also precious.

Khloe, Anderson, those two who used to be very close to my heart. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought my mom and Jeremy would return to me. Even Ciara!

I wasn't even aware I lost anything, especially not Jeremy who I had no memories of. Truly in life when you lose you gain, people go and people come, eventually we all go about our life.

We may carry the pain with us at heart but eventually it will all be eased. It was about time I started focusing on myself.

The book Shadows had been selling greatly and I can't believe every sales ends up in my account. Even the monster I lived with for eight years left something behind for me.

I made sure to visit everywhere I wanted. My old house, it was now occupied by different people, even Khloe's. I bet this kids would also grow up one day and come as far as we did.

I also visited Kelvin's restaurant, ate his food for the last time till we happen to meet again. He was sad to see me go, even though he used to hate me for hurting his sister.

I dropped by the hospital to see Anderson and bid him goodbye with hopes we would meet again someday and continue our bromance.

With love and zero regrets, I flew out of New York! To a new beginning.
