Work was tedious. Mary finally got a promotion to the headquarters and as her mother's successor, she replaced her on the board. Her mother who thought it was time she stayed home and enjoyed everything she had labored for all of these years transferred her shares to her daughter's name.

It was really crazy when I got the news that I we would be having a director for our branch, yes! A boss for me!

They said the branch was too important to me headed by just a branch manager. So today, our branch director came and it was none other than Mary the bitch!

"Who is the boss now!" Was the first thing she told me. I bet not all bad people loses in the end!

"Good for you!" I told her.

It wasn't as though I wasn't planning on resigning before she came so why be bothered? Will was helping me setup a publishing company of mine, Fiona and I were going to quit anyways.

Even though, I still had months to work under her!

I returned home completely frustrated and drained only to meet Will sitting comfortably in my living room with a bowl of ice-cream.

"Thank you" I said taking the ice cream off his hand.

"That was mine!" He complained.

"Mine now" I replied with a smile and he surrendered.

"Let's visit my grandma on Saturday, she wants to meet you" he told me.

As happy as I was, I was also scared. What if she doesn't like me and asks me never to see her son? She might think I am not up to his standards.

"Don't worry about feeling inferior again Khloe". He told me as though reading through me.

"Your brothers?"

"Just my grandma love, I don't give two shits about those things" he replied.

I could only hope one day, they all get their differences sorted out.

Kelvin and I were having a great alone time at home when we heard the doorbell ring.

"I would get it" I told him and went for the door only to meet Alicia standing out there. Yeah, it's been months since she last caused trouble.

"What do you want?" I asked her.

"Who is it?" Kelvin asked from inside.

"Your girlfriend" I said in reply.

She only scoffed at the fact I called her his girlfriend but the truth was the fact that is what I always call her. Kelvin came to the door like flash! Wow!

"What do you want?" He asked her.

"I came to see you" she told him.

"Her husband's must house must have been so boring she decided to come see you" I told Kelvin who only ignored me.

Well, all I could do was pass comments since she decided to trespass.

"Listen Alicia, you are not welcomed here in my house!" He told her.

"But...."

"But I have a girlfriend, but you are married with kids". Kelvin yelled at her.

"The kids are yours Kelvin". She told him completely shutting us up.

There was no way Kelvin would have kids with Alicia, no way! Or he could! Where does that leave us then? I wonder if her husband was aware.

"No way!"

"Yes way Kel, I was pregnant before you left but I wasn't aware. It wasn't long after you left I had a rebound with Anderson, I thought he was responsible for my pregnancy so I married him. I have no idea why he decided to run a DNA test but we found out the kids are not his". She explained.

"So? What do you want from me now Alicia?" He asked her utterly confused.

"Andy is threatening to kick me out, since we have kids together Kel, I think......"

"You thought wrong Alicia, you thought completely wrong! I wouldn't even accept any kid from you without running adequate tests! Even your husband doesn't trust you. Please leave!" He yelled at her.

For me, I was beyond worried! What if they decide to get back together? What would become of me?

"What are you planning on doing?" I asked him

"She is probably only making things up! We couldn't have had any child together!" He replied dismissing the discussion.

"What if it's true?" I asked further!

"Can you raise them?" He asked.

Can I raise.... can I raise the twins? Was he thinking of taking them in? That means Alicia would never be gone from my life, can I deal with that?

"Think about and let me know, then I would know if to take them in or just acknowledge them and let them stay with their mother. Either ways, I'm not letting you go". He replied.

I gave him a really tight hug which I closed with a kiss. Kelvin was really one of a kind, a rare type of man and every woman's dream guy. I really hope their was a mistake in the test Andy did though because either ways, Alicia would forever be in his life.

I haven't decided if I would be changing its name or not but one thing I am sure of is a sequel would be out sometime next year with more romance, there was absolutely no romance in here🥺

It's going to get juicier in the sequel so please wait patiently for it and give me even greater energy when reading it.

What would happen with the kids? Are the Kelvin's or not?
Would Alicia ever give up on Kelvin?

I would be releasing the cast in the sequel, as well as new characters you just might love. Do you miss Annie? I am bringing in someone with that same vibe in memory of her!
