"Do promise to uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your life?" "I do," Featherpaw meowed. "Then from this day forward you will now be known as Featherpool," Pebblestar's voice rang out. "Troutfur, Featherpool, Troutfur, Featherpool," the clan cheered.
Later that night
Oceanwave was trying to drown Featherpool. When that didn't work she tried to tear into Featherpool's skin. She left the silver tabby lying wounded and surounded by a pool of blood. Featherpool shivered at the thought of what happened four moons ago. Earlier that day Pebblestar told her She was on her last life and wanted Raincloud to be leader instead of Oceanwave. SNAP! Featherpool turned to see Oceanwave running to Pebblestar's den. Featherpool took off after her. When she reached the den she saw Pebblestar beaten up. Featherpool tackled Oceanwave. Then she yowled as loud as she could, "HELP, OCEANWAVE IS TRYING TO KILL PEBBLESTAR!" Raincloud was first to get in the den. She grabbed Oceanwave and slung her out of the den. Reedtail ran in. "I..." she said gasping for air, "Want Rain... Cloud to be... Leader." "And Featherpool... Stay strong... I Love You," Pebblestar smiled as her eyes glazed over. "NO!" Featherpool sobbed. She walked outside onto the giant rock. "Attention, Pebblestar is.. Is dead," she yowled to her clan mates. "NO," Waterlilly screamed. "She said she wanted Raincloud to be leader instead of Oceanwave," Featherpool meowed. Just as she finished there was a cry of terror. Reedtail ran out of the medicine cat den gasping. "Ocenwave... Mud.. Ear," he let out before fainting. Featherpool ran in and saw a pool of blood surrounding Mudear, her eyes glazed. "Have a safe journey to Starclan," Featherpool whispered. Featherpool padded out of the medicine cat den. Grief overcame her and she started crying. "Featherpool, I know this is not the best of times but I feel the need to confess this now," Reedtail meowed as he padded softly to her. He must have recovered from fainting. "What is it?," she asked tears streaming down her face. "I... I love you," he said. Catterwaling could be heard from the clearing. Mousefoot was attacking Oceanwave. Oceanwave sliced her claws under his belly causing blood to spill out. "I did this because I love you, Waterlilly," he said as he closed his eyes. "Enough," Featherpool howled, "Oceanwave, leave or we will kill you." She stalked away out of camp.
