Featherpaw came back with two fish in her mouth. She set them down on the fresh kill pile. "Featherpaw, a word please," she heard someone call. Featherpaw saw Moonface, Riverclan's only elder, becken her over with her tail. Featherpaw padded over to the gray tabby elder. "Yes Moonface," she meowed. "You know I'm Splashtail's mother but I know a secret, along with Pebblestar and Mudear, your mother isn't Silverheart, it's Streamsong, she was a ThunderClan warrior, but died five days after she gave birth to you, due to a fox attack," Moonface finally finished. "Wait, you're saying I'm half-clan and my mother died," Featherpaw meowed struggling to understand. "Yes." "So, Troutpaw isn't related to me," Featherpaw questioned. "No he's not," Moonface replied. "Thank you Moonface," Featherpaw meowed. "Featherpaw you up for some training?" Raincloud called. Featherpaw hurried after her nice mentor. They'll see what this half-clan cat can do, she thought as she ran into the training clearing.
