    "KID!" An unhappy Nakamori screeched. The news had just come on the screen he used to be watching his favorite anime on- a maid one mind you- that the infamous Kaito Kid had recently completed an unplanned heist for the "Snow Queen's Spirit". The jewel had been listed, based on the previous heists, on the possible Kid strike lists. Needless to say, news traveled quickly when it concerns Kid.

    "Kid just appeared here~ I'm in heaven~" an overly enthusiastic Sonoko cried. "Oh please. Kaito's-" "I'm not Kid Hakubaka!" "Kid's not that cool. He is a thief, for Doyle's sake." Hakuba replied, rolling his eyes at the fangirl. "Hmph. At least we got the jewel back." The almighty Cone pointed out. Kaito snickers at the author's choice of nickname for Conan.  "Whatcha laughin' at, Kuroba?" Heiji asked. "Eh, you wouldn't get it~" Kaito made out through "keke's". Everyone just looked at the snickering magician in confusion.

    Finally, after investigating Kid's escape route a bit, it was time for introductions. Kaito did the rose thing with the girls,  and let them introduce themselves. "Um, not to be rude, but you look very similar to a friend I have." Ran pointed out. "Huh. This Osakan here mistook me for someone as well." Heiji sweat dropped, having thought that Kaito had forgotten that moment. "Ehhhhhh... simple mistake?" Heiji covered up.

    Suddenly, the doors to the ball-like room were flight open, by someone we all know too well. "WHERE'S KID?!?" Nakamori quite literally screeched. Right in some poor guard's ear."H-he already r-ran aw-way s-s-sir." The guard whimpered. "EH?! YOU LET HIM GET AWAY?! B*LLS***!" Nakamori screeched again. Kaito quickly covered up Conan's ears, trying to not let what he thought was a 7-year-old hear the fuming inspector's curses. "Woah! Calm down, Mr. Nakamori! There are kids here!" Kaito brought to his attention. Nakamori just kept screeching curses about Kid.

     "Never mind him, he's crazy about Kid." Aoko apologized for her father's actions. "Although, sometimes I wonder about what would happen when- or if- Kid is captured." "I bet he wouldn't be so obsessed all the time." Hakuba guessed. Kaito shivered as if the author was foreshadowing something that would become a major plot problem in the book. "Kaito, are you cold?" Aoko asked. "Uh, not at all, thanks for asking."

Kaito is gonna be a fourth wall breaker at times and there is nothing you can do about it. Keh heh

Sorry about the later update and short chapter. We are doing this mystery unit in language and I was preparing for a free write for it XD
The plot wasn't half bad, considering j had around 45 minutes to write it lol
