Leo pov

As I held Victoria against my chest she slowly drifted off to sleep. For a while I watched the rise and fall of her chest and thought wow how lucky I am to have such a fine maiden. As more thoughts flooded though my head I began to grow weary and tired my eyes grew heavy and just like Victoria I fell into a deep and well needed sleep.

~ The next morning~

I woke up to mumbling and a bunch of tossing and turning. My eyes immediately fluttered open. The first thing I noticed when I woke up was Victoria she was screaming but yet her eyes were shut. My first instinct was to shush her and comfort her because apparently she was having a bad dream. As she still laid curled up next me I wrapped my arms around her embracing her as tightly as I could. I cooed to her and said "My love everything will be okay I am here I won't let anything bad happen to you. Darling please come back from this terrible slumber." I leaned down and whispered into her ear "I love you!" The next thing that happened caught me by surprise. Victoria startled awake. She was panting like she had been running for miles without a chance to stop for a breath. Her beautiful Brown eyes met mine and tears welled up in her eyes. The tears can down from her eyes in a torrent. They were unwilling to stop. They kept coming down coating her beautiful skin with marks to say that they had been there.

After a few minutes of comforting and cooing the tears slowed to a stop and Victoria wiped away the last traces of the tears from her face although she couldn't get rid of the puffiness in her eyes. But that didn't matter much to us.

Victoria looked up at me her sparkling brown eyes meeting mine. She opened her mouth to speak but instead brought her lips to mine.

As her lips neared mine I felt an almost electric spark running down my spine. It sent shivers through my entire body but it wasn't a bad feeling! It was a feeling that I was growing to love. As Victoria pulled away from me she leaned in towards my ear and whispered I love you!

These three simple words made my day! They were words that I longed to hear from her mouth.

As Victoria settled in again she laid her head atop my chest once again and let out an almost inaudible whisper "don't ever leave me." The tone of her voice was enough for me to tell that this was coming from the depths of her heart and the deepest darkest parts of her mind that was filled with all kinds of scenarios that scared her but I knew that the one that scared her the most involved us.

With that in mind I whispered back "my love nothing in all of creation will ever separate us and if by some crazy chance it does. I won't reset until we are reunited and you are safely back in my arms. But if I can help it nothing will ever happen! You don't need to worry my angel! You are safe with me!!"

With that Victoria resituated her self against my chest. Her muscles began to relax and her arms wrapped around my waist embracing me in the best hug of my life!
