Leo pov

As the music began to die down I spun Victoria out but soon realized I had given her too much momentum. When she reached what should have been the end of her spin her hand was ripped out of mine. I watched her crash into an antique vase which luckily fell on her fluffy dress and didn't break... Then she crashed trough a table and finally hitting her head against the marble wall.

I ran over to her hoping that she was okay. I kneeled down to eye level but as soon as I looked into her eyes I knew something was wrong! Her eyes had a hard time focusing. I told Victoria to hold on to try and focus and I knew she was trying but I could see it she was slipping. I cursed under my breath so no one would here me. (If anyone caught wind of that I would be.... I don't want to think about it.....)

I watched Victoria's eyes roll into the back of her head and she slumped to the ground. People started to crowd around us so I made a rash decision and said move back she needs room. There was a collective gasp as to how I had addressed them but they didn't want to get cross with the prince so they did as I said and moved back away from Victoria. I went to Victoria's head and lifted up her eye lids. They weren't reacting so I knew from the medical classes I had taken that more than likely she had hit her head a little too hard. I placed one of my hands under legs and the other supporting her back and head. I stood up and ran towards the door. My butler James fell in step with me and he said "Sir is there anything I can do?" I replied with yes James I need you to call University Hospital in Galway and let them know that we are coming and give them the details of our situation if it is urgent enough have them send a chopper but let them know we are leaving now in the Limo and we should be there in about 2 hrs if traffic is good. Hopefully they will meet us halfway with a chopper. I sent James off to complete his task and called another butler and a maid. I looked to Jeffery the other butler and said have the Limo pulled around out front and pack things for me for a stay at the hospital. I sent Jeffery off and I turned to Mia the maid. Mia I need you to pack a bag for Victoria for a stay at the hospital and that I needed her to change Victoria into a suitable and comfortable outfit for the ride. She looked at me with bewilderment in her eyes and I said don't worry I will carry her for you and when you are finished I will bring her down I just need you to hurry Ok? Can you do that for me? "Yes sir I can."

With that I hurried up the stairs with Victoria in my arms and pushed her door open and laid her on the bed. I ran out of her room leaving her with Mia to do as I bid. I ran out into the hallway and into my room throwing my tie on the floor along with my shoes and my tux jacket next came my pants and socks. I walked over to my wardrobe and grabbed a pair of comfortable but presentable jeans. I pulled them on and looked for a plain white t-shirt and pulled that on. I was ready to walk out the door when I realized I didn't have shoes,socks or a jacket. So I grabbed my favorite leather jacket and a pair of socks and finally a pair of black converse. I ran out of my room and back over to Victoria's room and found Mia standing by the door and Victoria dressed and ready to go. I picked her up from the bed and sprinted down the stairs and out the front doors and into the limo. I pulled the Limo door shut and signaled for the driver to go. I finally took a breathe as the car sped away with me, The Limo Driver, James and most importantly Victoria.

I laid Victoria on the Limo seat next to me trying to make her comfortable. I laid back in the limo seat hoping that perhaps I could relax a bit but I knew it was futile because as long as Victoria lay unconscious I couldn't relax. I turned to watch the sky and clouds move around us as we sped down the highway towards the hospital.

It was about an hour into the drive when I heard the tell tale signs of the chopper. Our limo slowed down to a stop as the chopper landed in the field next to us. I opened the limo door and grabbed Victoria and ran her over to the chopper. I put my head down as we neared the chopper. I was met at the chopper by two medical personal and two guards specifically sent to protect me and my girlfriend. The word girlfriend sounded strange coming from my mouth but I didn't have much time to ponder it because I knew the clock was ticking for Victoria. I handed her off to one of the medical officers and I climbed in behind them. I strapped myself into the seat and slid the chopper door closed and we took off. The Limo started up again as we were lifted up in the sky and whisked away to the Hospital.

About 30 minuets later we arrived on the heli - pad at University Hospital Galway. A gurney with 3 nurses and a doctor around it ran up to us and we laid Victoria on it. They ran back towards the building while the chopper left to go pick up another patient.

I ran beside Victoria and the rest of the medical staff. We turned down many halls and finally made it to a private exam room where Victoria was transferred from one bed to another. The nurses except 1 left. She inserted an IV into Victoria and hung a liter or saline. Soon after she left the doctor came back in and began examining Victoria. He waved a pen light over her eyes and mumbled a few words that I couldn't quite make out. He then gently lifted her head and she let out a wince as the doctor went over her head looking for any abnormalities. He layed her head back down and turned to me. "Your highness I believe she will be alright with time but as a precautionary measure I would like to get a Ct scan of her head to look for any signs of a brain bleed or anything else that I might have missed.... If that is OK with you." Yes that will be fine as long as she will be OK I just want to see her smile again I replied. The doctor left the room and I went over to Victoria's bedside. I wrapped my hand around hers and leaned down and kissed her forehead. She let out a low mumble but then went silent. I decided while I waited for the doctor to come back and get Victoria I would pull up a chair and wait.

I sat down in the leather chair and slumped back into the chair. As I sat in the chair I watched Victoria's steady breathing and slowly dosed off.

When I woke up Victoria was gone and my bags and Victoria's were in the room along with a sleepy James in the corner. I got up our of my chair and walked to the door and opened it. I walked to the nurses station and asked where I could buy some coffee and food she directed me to the cafeteria down on the main floor. I thanked her and walked down to the elevators. I pished the button for going down. A few minutes later there was a ding and a free elevator. I walked in and pressed the first floor button. The elevator jerked and then went down smoothly. When the doors opened up on the first floor there were TV news crews all around. I quickly ran towards the cafeteria with my head down hoping nobody would recognize me. I sped down the hall when loud cheers erupted behind me. I just kept running towards the cafeteria hoping against hope that I could lose the news crews. After running down several hallways I lost the news media and emerged in the cafeteria. I was practically out of breathe but quickly stood up straight and walked into the cafeteria line. I went threw the line getting some of my favorite foods and two Starbucks coffees one for me and one for James. When I got to the end of the line the cashier gasped and said "oh it's...... Itsss" she began to stutter and looked dumfounded so I handed her some money which I knew would be more than enough for everything I had brought with me. I carried the tray and two coffees out of the cafeteria and decided that I would take the back stairs up to Victoria's floor that way I could maybe just maybe bypass all of the TV media....

As I made my way through the halls and up the stairs I thought about Victoria. I realized that for the first time in my life she was one of the only people who actually cared about me ..... She cared for me and it wasn't because of my title or money. I let thatthought sink in as I climbed the stairs. When I reached Victoria's floor I walked down the halls and into her room. I saw her she was lying down on her bed and James was standing in the window. I walked over to him and handed him some food and a coffee. He took them but looked a little stunned that I left without him. I just merely replied with a shoulder shrug and said you were sleeping so I went on my own. A slight smile played over his lips. It was one of the first times I had seen James smile. I walked back over across the room to Victoria's side. I set my food and coffee down on the rolling table and sat down in the chair. I placed my hand in Victoria's and said my love please I need you to wake up. I need to see you laugh and smile and kiss me. I miss you darling please wake up. I stared at her for what seemed like hours but was actually only about 20 minutes. Victoria's hand twitched and she let out a slight moan and then her eyes fluttered open.

Victoria pov

I could hear a voice. It sounded kind of far of but it kept getting closer. It was saying "I miss you please wake up my love" and then it hit me it was Leo. I struggled to open my eyes but managed to squeeze something. I felt the object squeeze back and I knew it was leo's hand. I willed my eyes to open and finally they did as I asked. As if on command a bright light flooded into my eyes. At first I struggled to see anything but as my eyes began to focus and clear up I made out the dim figure of leo's face. As things began to focus and details became clearer I let out a slight chuckle and threw my arms around Leo. He pulled back in surprise but I didn't let go. After he realized that I wasn't going to let go he returned the gesture and picked me up out of he bed I was in. He sat down in a chair and sat me on his lap. I smiled and laughed and he smiled and laughed. It was like a kindergarten reunion. Tbh we probably looked like idiots but we didn't care. After about 10 minutes of looking like idiots I nestled my head on Leo chest and listened to the rhythmic beating of Leo's heart. It was very relaxing and to make it even better leo wrapped his arm around me and held me tight and said "I won't let anything happen to you ever again!" I held that thought in my head not ever wanting to let go of it because those words and his embrace and just him in general made me feel safe and sound and loved! It is such an amazing feeling to have someone who is willing to protect you and love you!
