POV-Evelyn

His parents house was huge it was the lost luxurious home I've ever set my eyes on. Well other than his. Trystan dad begins to introduce me to people until the room goes silent. Not a sound I know it sounds cheesy but even a pin could be heard.

I glance around at everyone, their faces milder in confusion, some fear and shock. A few muscular men separate from the mass of people gathered in the dinning area, they leave through the hallway I came though no one moving.

I concluded in my mind that whatever this was, it must be some werewolf problem. I decide not to ask questions. Trystan's eyes meet mine, I walk over to him and slip my hand into his. Seeing as we are meant to be getting married I decided it would seem like a couple thing to do.

His eyes close for a second returning to their forest green colour, "stay with my parents, I've got to go check this out." He pulls his hand away from mine looking at someone behind me before turning and disappearing down the hall.

As soon as he leaves the room everyone is moving some away from the front entrance others squeezing into the narrow hallway seeing if they can see anything.

I go back to stand by his parents, a loud scream comes from outside, Trystan's mom gasps her hands flying up to her mouth. Her eyes darting frantically around the room trying to spot someone. Tears beginning to slip, she grabs onto Caden's shirt, her knees giving way. A couple people come to her aid pulling her off of Caden.

Caden's eyes are filled with rage and fear , he stalks off to where everyone disappeared to.

I follow close behind soon coming to the large group of people gathered around the doorway. I slip by and get to the front where a large semi circle has been made. My eyes search the group and I find the tall man with a large scar. His eyes search mine, he let's out a guttural growl before turning into a large hairy giant wolf. I gasp and stumble back slightly.

I watch as he runs deep into the forest many other men following behind also turned into the wolves.

I can't believe my eyes... werewolves are real!? Caden is next he turns and is equally as big as Trystan. Probably the alpha gene.

I loose sight of them as a swarm of people push me back further into the house. Someone grabs my dress pulling me further inside.

"Luna it isn't safe for you to be out there" a women says. Her sharp hazel eyes peering into mine.

I stumble for words, "I-i... werewolves?!" Is all I can get out before she grabs my arm and we are running through hallways getting deeper and deeper into the mansion.

I get pulled into a room where many different people sit. Mia, Trystan's mother is among them.

Her watery eyes meet mine then the women behind me.

"Andrea!" She cries standing and walking over. She drapes her arms around Andrea's neck and cries. Andreas arms come around and she hugs back soothing her.

"It'll be alright Mia. Lucy is a strong girl she can handle herself"

Mia nods and pulls away, Andrea turns to me. "It's nice to meet you Luna I'm Andrea."

"Evelyn" I say sticking out my hand and shaking hers.

"Dear has Trystan told you about his past?" Mia asks me.

I shake my head, I knew he must've had something traumatic happen to him since he's been secluding himself and secretive.

"Its best he tells you then" she states before going to sit back down.

"I'm Lea's mother... the previous Luna"

My eyes widen, i had not clue there had ever been another Luna before me. My mind races with conclusion and answers.

"Trystan will tell you about her, when the time is right" she whispers before joining Mia on the couch.

I slouch and walk over towards a window. I sit by it resting my elbow along the window sill.

A shadow passes by quickly and I jump back, my eyes peering into the black night. I get closer to the window attempting to spot the shadow from earlier. A girl appears before my eyes at the window, her sandy blond hair mated to her face as sweat mixed with blood drips down her face. Her eyes are wide as she stares at me. She begins to bang on the window her screams filling my ears.

I push the window open and pull her up, she falls into the room, all eyes turn to me and her. She rocks on the floor whispering to herself.

"Lucy?!" Mia's voice cries.

The girl looks up her eyes tired and scared, her dress is ripped and her makeup is smeared across her face.

I step back as people rush for her, I look out of the window. Where is Trystan?

I feel and ache in my heart at the thought of Mia and Caden loosing him. I know he can take care of himself but I wouldn't want to be out there alone.

I look back to everyone as they ask questions and check her body. I take a deep breath as I swing both legs over the window sill and hop out. I stand looking back over my shoulder, I see no one following me so I continue into the darkness. Now regretting my decision I realize whatever was chasing Lucy must be out here and now not even being a werewolf I need to protect myself and find Trystan.

I stop and brush away some tree branches, I peer out to the darkness the quiet filling the air, I look up and spot the moon. It's glow not yet bright enough to reach the trees.

I step through hearing the grass and leaves crunch underneath my feet. I took my heels of awhile ago so that I would be able to run if necessary.

I here some crunching behind me, I stop and look back, my heart going a mile a minute I calm my breathing and take some breaths.

"Luna?" A gruff voice says our from the trees. More crunching. It stops and I spot a man standing in full view. His dark eyes searching me.

"They've all been looking for you, here let's get you back" he says.

I take a few steps forward, and reach out my hand, he takes it and pulls me fast crushing me against him.

"You're tiny... not strong enough for a Luna... must be a human?" He whispers into my ear, I feel him smirk.

I swallow and shake underneath his hold. "Let me go!" I yell, I bite down on his hand. He yelps and brings the hand I bite up to his face to inspect.

I kick back hitting him hard in the groin, he hurls over grabbing his middle. I dart away into the forest dogging branches. It isn't long before I hear is steps behind mine, my shallow breathing gets worse as I continue on.

I know that I can't outrun him especially if he decided to turn into a wolf, then I'd definitely be in deep shit. I take a sharp right and run deeper into the woods.

I stop to take my breath quickly leaning against a tree trunk. My eyes dart around the forest. I double over at the throbbing pain that has erupted in my back. The medications must be wearing off. The wound in my back as evident as ever.

"It's isn't nice to run from me little girl" he sneers and grabs me from behind. I scream and yell, his hand smashes down over my mouth shutting me up instantly.

His other hands hold my hands down, "now. You'll tell me where your Alpha is dear or I'll have to take you with me" he growls into my ear. His tongue darts along my neck stopping at a spot on the crook of my neck.

"I'll take you dear and you'll be mine." He whispers.

"I don't know where he is!" I say my voice muffled by his hand.

"What was that?" He takes his hand off my mouth.

I take a deep breath hearing the sound of my own throbbing heartbeat.

"Trystan!" I scream as loud as I can my voice cracking.

The man chuckles and slaps his hand over it again. I cringe as the pain spreads through my jaw.

"Fine have it your way sweet pea. You'll be mine now" he growls and drags me back my feet scraping the forest floor.

"Get away." His deep voice resonates throughout the forest. Everything goes quiet as I hear the deepest most harsh growl erupt from Trystan's chest. He was here.
