POV-Evelyn

"Get away." His deep voice resonates throughout the forest. Everything goes quiet as I hear the deepest most harsh growl erupt from Trystan's chest. He was here.

"Oh sweet pea, I'm so thrilled that you brought him to me. The other slut only ran like the bitch she is" he sneers into my ear.

Not a second later does a loud growl erupt as I hear my captor scream in pain, I feel him shudder as claws run through his back. I stumble forward as he lets me go, I run and cower behind a tree. The man's body lies in the clearing he's still alive his chest rising and falling.

A black wolf stalks around his body, the man tries to push himself away but Trystan only growls causing the man to freeze.

I watch as Trystan grabs the guy by his arm and flings him over onto his back. Trystan walks towards me and motions his head in some obscure direction. I follow blindly as Trystan leads me out of the woods eventually back to the mansion.

A group of concerned people are gathered out by the front, they all look relieved when Trystan emerges from the forest. Some also look thankful that I'm there to, others lost likely blaming me for all that has happened tonight.

"It's another one" Trystan growls.

"You want us to kill him Alpha?" A burly muscular man asks.

Trystan answers quickly and roughly as if a new wound has just been opened, "No. he deserves all the pain imaginable. For the pain he's caused this family." Trystan says, he eyes the guy lying on the ground once more, "bring him to the chamber"

A few men nod before grabbing the man roughly and dragging him away.

Trystan stalks inside, I follow behind knowing that he was pissed at me for leaving. He stops once we are alone inside and turns to face me.

"Why." He questions. "Why would you go out there? I told you to stay with my parents"

I sigh and look down not meeting his gaze, "I-I needed to make sure you were safe"

He stares down at me with an incredulous look on his face, "you needed to make sure I was safe" he laughs bitterly.

"well dear, if you didn't already realise I am a werewolf and you," he looks me up and down, "are a puny human" he sneers.

I nod my face growing hot, he scoffs and heads off somewhere leaving me alone in the dimly lit hallway.

I slide down the wall tears staining my cheeks, I rest my head on my arms as my eyes close, all I wanted was a friend.

I wake up in my bed, fully clothed in pyjamas. I sit up and stretch, my muscles ache from the previous night. My back aching from the man, it didn't seem to hurt that much I'm guessing since they gave me more medications.

I swing my legs over the side and hope off, I pad over to the door, opening it slowly I peak over the side. Making sure the coast was clear I step around the door and down the hallway towards the stairs.

I make it down and smell something amazing, I head into the kitchen to see Holly cooking.

"Well good morning sleeping beauty," Holly turns and smiles, she grabs two plates out and places pancakes on both. Handing me one we go sit at the table.

I send her a tight lipped smile, my memories still slightly fuzzy from the night before. I pull out a hair next to Holly and sit.

I pick up my fork and stare down at the pancakes, "did he bring me in last night?"

Holly pauses with a portion of the pancake brought up to her mouth, she nods once and eats the pancake.

We finish our breakfast in silence, my head whizzing with conclusions. I were to stay here I would need some answers, and I knew exactly where I was going to get them.

I leave the house in a hurry, the cool morning air blowing through my hair as I run down the narrow path apparently leading towards the pack house.

I am out of breath when I reach the house, I pause to catch my breath. 

"Luna are you okay?" Someone asks.

I open my eyes and glance up, I nod and stand turning towards the house.

"Who are you looking for? The Alpha?" He asks.

I nod and the man sighs. "He isn't here at the moment, he's off doing his rounds."

I keep my composure making sure they don't suspect what I am really up to.

If I was going to survive this place I needed someone to help me along the way.

I later found out that that wolf was the Beta's son, Noah. He left to give a message to Trystan. One that I told him to give since it would leave me more time.

I run down the steep steps towards the cellar. The top door was strangely unlocked. I didn't question it before heading down, so I hope no murdering monsters emerges.

I stop at the last step and look down both hallways, they both lead in opposite directions and very dimly lit.

I follow my gut and continue on down he left hallway. I check each empty cellar door, my heart pumping loud in my chest. What if I was too later? What if she was gone?

I let out a sigh of relief when I approach the last cell door. I hear faint sobbing sounds, they grow louder as I get closer.

"Meg?" I ask, peering into the dark cell.

"W...who's there?" She faintly whispers.

Joy soars through me, I jump and clap in happiness.

"Meh! It's me!!" I say quickly checking the lock on the cell door.

She stands her hands grasping the cell bars, she stares into my eyes. Tears fall and she rests her head against the bars.

"Oh thank god! It's  been so lonely since everyone's been gone." She explains.

"They left?" I ask.

She nods, "well... not gone but taken away. Some men talking about bringing them home?"

I nod, then my brows furrow, "wait why are you the only one in here?" I ask.

She shrugs and peers into the darkness her eyes going wide.

"You aren't good at following orders..."

Ehh I wasn't too happy with this update since nothing really happened. But the next update will be up tomorrow and it'll be more drama!!!
