Chapter 2
"Well, this is getting a bit pitiful, I'm not going to fight you any more. But I will give you what you want in return though. My name's Slade Wilson" The man introduced himself to me.
"Mines Kathy Wilison. Huh, we nearly have the same surname. How funny." I said shaking Slade's offered large hand.
"Very." Slade grinned back.
"So, what was this deal that you did with her?" Oliver asked.
"We would help her get back to civilisation. Ten days to train you two into at least half a soldier to do so." Slade explained.
"Wait a sec, why?" I asked bewildered.
"The only way to get off this island is to fight. Kill or be killed here." Slade said smiling grimly.

I rang the doorbell and stood back waiting for it to open.
"Hello?" Asked an coloured person when he'd opened to door.
"Hello, I've come to see Oliver Queen, may I come in?" I asked politely.
"Have you got an appointment with him?" The man asked.
"No but-" I started.
"Well then no. I'm sorry, could you tell me you name so that I can tell you when Mr Queen is back?" The man asked cutting me off. There was a slight hint of a warning edge to it, but very subtly, fear.
"No, it's ok. I'll come back later to see him." I said smiling on the outside but disappointed in the inside. "Oh, before I go, who are you? I haven't seen you before?" I asked as if just remembering to ask.
"I'm John Diggle, Mr Queen's body guard." The man Introduced himself.
"If your his bodyguard, then Oliver must be here. Let me in." I said.
"I'm sorry Ma'am, but-" John started but this time it was my tern to cut him off.
"It is very important that I see Mr Queen and he will be very angry with you if you don't let me in." I told him.
"I'm sure I can live with that. He's normally angry with me." John said quietly looking behind me.
Turning around I saw a man on a motorcycle and even though his head was covered by a tinted motorcycle helmet I knew it was Oliver. The one who would pay for his crimes.
Oliver got off his bike and took off his helmet with a smile.
"Diggle. Who's this? I thought I was to have my weekends free, no business appointments." Oliver asked.
I bit my lip lightly to stop myself snorting.
"This is not an business call. Just an old friend come to say hello as she passes through. Hello Oliver." I smiled sweetly.
Oliver frowned for a second. Had he forgotten me already? I might have to teach him more than one lesson then. I thought.
"Kathy!" He smiled walking forward and gave me an hug quickly.
"I haven't seen you since we'd left the island." Oliver said.
I patted his back, rather hard and pushed him away making it look like we were parting.
"I rather like handshakes better than hugs now." I told him.
"Of course." Oliver smiled and we shook hands squeezing each other's hands and I knew he'd not forgotten me at all. Good. "Why don't you come inside. Diggle, can you make some tea for us? What do you have?" Oliver asked me.
"Mint tea please, no sugar." I smiled and together me and Oliver walked into his house.

"Why the duck am I flipping out here on my own collecting sticks? I mean, for two days now, that's all I've been doing. It's so boring!" I was muttering to myself again. Even on the boat with Kevin I did so. Kevin used to record me talking to myself when I thought I was on the own and play I back to wind me up.
Suddenly as I trudged through the leaf litter I heard a snap and a rope that had somehow managed to tie itself around me whipped up and left me hanging upside down swaying alone in the forest.

Matching nearby woke me from the half slumber I'd got into and brought me to a panic.
Lots of men dressed in black with matching balaclavas on came towards me and cut me loose. Falling to the floor I as kicked onto my back and had my hands tied behind me and punched in the mouth when I tried to call out.
"Move!" One of the soldiers pressed his gun onto my back and I walked scared I was going to be killed.

"Oliver! Your ok! I thought you'd died when one moment you were walking to me and then suddenly I couldn't hear anything. I thought you'd died!" A blond haired woman walked into the hallway talking rapidly to Oliver but stopped when she saw me.
"Felicity." Oliver said calmly.
"Yes?"
"I'm ok. When I was, driving, there was an police car and I cut the phone call to stop myself from being seen. I tried to call you back at the nearest stop I could find and found my phone had died. Could you charge it for me please?" Oliver explained getting out his phone.
That pause when he said, Driving, made me think he'd not been driving when this incident had accord. There again, him being the green arrow wouldn't help that.
Yeah, I knew. Came to the city and heard about the vigilante, put two and two together and got four.
"Of course Mr Queen." Felicity smiled and left with Oliver's phone.
"What are you doing here?" Oliver asked me when we were at last alone.
"I came back to give you my promise. I shall not leave you alone till you've suffered enough." I said genuinely. I was pleased when I saw a flash of fear in his eyes.
"Kathy,I thought we'd got over this, it wasn't my fault." Oliver told me sighing.
"Oh yes, I had. I was willing to come back and say sorry, to start over again. I don't normally do that. You should know. But then last year, I'm walking around in the city and in a dark alley, there I find the body of Slade Wilson with an green arrow, who'd of done that I wonder? Hmm?" I told him.
"He was trying to kill me. I only did it In self defense." Oliver said.
"He was unwell! He didn't know what he was doing! I was hot on his trail to find and help him. Then you came along." I hissed at him.
"How would I of known when you didn't even contact me. Hell, after you left here when we got back you haven't even sent me a letter." Oliver hissed back.
We looked at each other in the eyes for some time only breaking when we heard someone on the stairs.
"Kathy!"
I looked up to the stairs and saw Thea, Oliver's sister, coming down.
"Hello Thea." I smiled and gave her a hug knowing it would infuriate Oliver. Let it. I thought.
"Are you staying for the night?" Thea asked me.
I shook my head. "Just passing through, I just wanted to give Oliver a message and be on my way. Glad to see your ok though Thea, don't want Oliver to worry about you."
Thea frowned. "Why wouldn't I?"
"I thought after your mother's death, Oliver would be very concerned about your well-being." I said quickly.
Thea nodded in what she thought was understanding. "Of course he is. Unbearable for the first few months but he's got better since."
I smiled sympathetically. "Well, I've got to go, got to get ready for a date."
Thea grinned. "Off you go then. Don't let us keep you waiting."
"Ok then. See ya soon." I said goodbye as Diggle and Felicity came back in.
With the door closed and Oliver knowing I was here, I bet he would be terrified for every heart beat. Serves him right.
