So after a while of strolling around in my amazing gear made by Harriet, I just decided that I needed to upgrade her a bit. So I was really nice.

"Reaper, you do know I can read thoughts right?" She said

"Oh. Shoot." I replied

"Yeah, I don't really think you can upgrade me that much more than that. Haha" she laughed and it made me smile. So we left and headed out for Ruby Chasm. What a journey we had ahead.

"I know right." She said

"Stop it." I laughed. She was basically my best friend but I didn't have any other friends so it's not like I really had a choice or anything so life's hard for me.

"We are best friends, Thomas!" She shouted.

We walked to Ruby Chasm and we met a face that seemed familiar. He looked kinda like Bravo. Unfortunately, it wasn't him. Seeing this guy made me really miss them wherever they are. And it makes me want to find them. Also, hi Harriet.

"Oh, so you know I'm listening to our thoughts. Hahaha." She said, "Okay let's just get there safe."

Just to be safe I stopped thinking just in case I thought about Jess and Harriet asked me about it. Uh oh, I just.

"No comment." She said

"You don't care?" I asked her.

"If you choose to think about someone who hurt you then that's your choice, Thomas. Just be aware of what could happen if you were unfocused."

Then the most frightening thing happened. I had what was like a vision or something...I don't know. I saw Harriet being carried by Carson to some place but Harriet looked hurt and Jess was there too and I stood there like I had to make a choice. I clicked back to reality. Well, dreamscape reality...

"Thomas. THOMAS!!"

"Huh...?" I said.

"Are you alright?" She asked me.

"You didn't see what I saw?" I asked her

"No? What did you see Thomas?" She asked me.

"It's Carson....and Jess they were with each other in some place and we were there and you saved Carson but I had to make a choice," I explained.

"I couldn't see your thoughts. This is important, Thomas, if Carson is alive Jess has something to do with it and that is important." She replied.

"Maybe I'm just hoping she's alive and seeing things. Maybe I want to see her but we should focus on shadow master for now because we can't find out anything if we are dead." I said.

"Sure but if that dream or whatever happens I hope you make the right choice." She said with a face that took a piece of me with it.

"How long have we been walking for?" I asked her.

"Enough time to realise that those riflemen standing over there don't look too happy to see us," she said with a scary kind of smile on her face.

"Hi, guys. Uh....does anyone know where the nearest toilet is? No? Oh well looks like I'll just have to wait then...."

"Boss. What do I do?" One of them asked.

"Kill him and stop wasting time and after you do that can you please cook my egg fried not scrambled. Thanks!" One replied.

"Thomas I got this," Harriet said.

She literally looked at one of them and ten of them exploded, which almost made me pee myself cause it was that scary and amazing.

"Okay. Am I not gonna get my eggs?" The boss said, "if not I'm going inside."

"You lot are useless." He continued, "so looks like I'll have to take care of these two myself."

"Funny you say that, mister." I started, "because if you want eggs I'm gonna crack you. Was that one good Harriet?"

"No."

"Oh well."

I shot the guy with my death pulse and he stood there unaffected. That was slightly awkward cause it didn't work maybe it's broken. Is it Harriet?

"Not broken just that he seemed to have just absorbed it and is about to shoot it back at you." She replied, "my bad I just read his thoughts he's gonna shoot you with it now."

"Click that button on your suit." She said, "the white one."

I clicked the button and she looked frozen then I realised time had just frozen. This woman was amazing.

"So uh can I get an egg? Just wondering." I asked the guy.

The death pulse he was shooting also froze and I just walked up to him and hit him then put his hand on it. Never touch a death pulse because it sends you to reality and that isn't good for you.

I pressed the button again and the guy disappeared and Harriet looked at me and smiled again.

"I'm guessing he's not going to be getting those eggs."

Harriet and I walked towards the hut and someone blasted us back from the door.

"Who the hell are you two and why do you feel like it's a good idea to come to my turf." Someone said.

"Your turf? Then who was that other guy?" Harriet asked.

"Other guy?" He replied.

"The guy I just sent to reality." I blurted out.

"Oh, he was some guy that liked eggs a lot." He replied.

"Okay. So who are you?" I asked.

"Me? I'm Maximus."
