It was dark. And deadly. More so at this time of night. The two propped their boards against a tree and walked together through the woods.

They stopped at a patch of berries.

Then they both fell on them.

"Are you sure these aren't poisonus?" "Brilliant time to remember that. But yes, I'm sure."

"Shall we take some home?"

"Too risky. I'm still not sure if we have legal permits for the boards."

"But it's not like we have a choice."

The two remained silent for a few seconds.

"Race you home?"

"It's on!"

They crashed back through the forest, grabbing their boards. They once again climbed the one tree that stretched above the rest. One by one, they launched themselves, on their boards, towards home.

"Amber! Telephone wire!"

Amber - the girl who had run across the rooftops - laughed and skimmed over the wire. Her red-brown hair came loose and danced in the wind.

Skidding to a halt on top of a fifty-foot-high rooftop, Amber turned her board off.

"See you!"

Her friend tried to reply, but Amber was three rooftops away. She laughed instead.
