Well, if you have read my other story Replicas, then you know about me. But if you haven't already, then do check it out.

For those who don't know me. My name is Nirupam Dhakal. I am from Nepal and I am an avid fan of horror movies and horror books. I love writing horror as well.

I joined Wattpad when my friend told me about it. And as of now, I have four published book (out of which, 3 are completed and one is ongoing.) Wattpad has been very lucky for me. Two of my books have more than 1K reads and I am really grateful to all my readers who read my stories.

The idea for Getaway had been brewing inside me for a long time. Along the way, I changed locations, characters and the premise. I finally decided that it would take place in a resort in the snowy setting.

My first idea was for this story to take place in a boathouse with Trisha as our heroine. Then, I thought of changing it to an abandoned fair with Steve as our hero. Finally, I settled on the idea of a resort with Amy as the main heroine.

People (not lots of, just a few) often ask me about Riberwood. Riberwood is a fictional town where my stories take place. Replicas and Getaway both take place simultaneously with Replicas story  slowly taking place along with our own Getaway.

If you gave Replicas a try, then you know that I have a lots of references here about it. And some characters of Replicas even return in Getaway! (Not our main characters).

Just hope that you liked this book and as you know, I would be starting on a sequel to my book Replicas entitled Replicas: The Homecoming.
