They had finally gotten out of he territory, and we're discussing where to go.

"We could go to other packs! Ask to join them." Snowy requested.

"And be an omega all my life? No way!" Bracken snapped.

Snowy hung her head and Bracken's gaze softened.

He apologized, "Sorry."

"We could go deeper into the mountains." Maika suggested, "I heard that there's good prey there."

"And lots of rouges."Levi retorted.

"Oh.."

"We could split up."

Damian's suggestion made everyone gasp.

He looked around, "What?"

Snowy growled, "We can't split up.."

Levi stepped in, "We can't just leave each other."

Bracken was the only one lost for words.

Maika considered the thought, "Well, we could just split the group. I was thinking of going beyond the mountains. See what's over there."

Damian smiled, "That's the greatest idea I've heard all day."

Levi added, "I think I will go out to the plains. That's a good place to stretch your legs."

Snowy was a bit hesitant, but not doubtful, "I'll go with him."

Bracken finally decided, "So will I."

"Then this is where we split paths.." Levi sighed.

They were quiet for once.

Damian broke the silence, "We can do it. Every full moon lets howl to each other. Letting each of us know that we're still alive."

Snowy nodded. And Levi gave Maika and Damian a curt nod, "Farewell. And may the stars guide your paws."

Maika smiled, "The same goes for you."

They bid each other goodbyes and were on their merry ways.
