Unexpected

She woke up in a large puddle of her own blood. Screams had awoken her, and she really wanted to hope that what had just happened was a dream. A very scary and horrifying dream.

She sat up and realized it was for sure not a dream. She was sitting on the cold bathroom floor, that was now stained red in some random spots.

She slowly walked into the shower, hiding herself from anything she needed to hide from. She heard more screams, this time from a man. She started silently crying with her face buried in her knees, concealed in the small shower, sitting on the drain.

She desperately needed to stop the bleeding wounds, so she grabbed a white towel hanging from a rack her grandma had set up few years ago. She tried as hard as she could to be quiet. Arabella hated to use a white towel, but then again, people were being murdered at the exact moment she was being hesitant to use a white towel to cover her wounds.

Arabella quietly walked back into the shower, covering her wounds gently with the soft, dry towel.

She started hearing screams again, this time from a woman. She started crying again, just imagining who the cries for help belonged to.

She heard heavy footsteps that horrifically reminded her of Mark. When the footsteps stopped, she heard dragging noises.

Terrible thoughts filled her head as she thought what they were.

"Don't move. It will only hurt more." Arabella almost screamed. The voice seemed to be directing the sentence to her. "Now, get out of the shower. NOW!" Arabella quickly realized it wasn't Mark walking down the stairs, but it was humans being pulled by another human.

She carefully stepped out of the shower, that was now, completely useless.

Standing right next to the wall near the murderer, she saw her parents, hand in hand, lying on the white carpet that was no longer white, but a deep shade of red. Arabella covered her mouth with her blood stained hands and tried to conceal her yells.

Arabella used to think of her sister as an innocent little girl. But, the girl standing in front of her, holding a knife that was dripping blood, was definitely not innocent.
