🥀 "Never regret something that once made you smile." 🥀

    California was even more beautiful than we had ever imagined. We walked the beach almost all day just because we loved the look of the water rushing toward shore and the feeling of the warm sand in our hands.

    Then, of course, one day Heaven had to be Heaven and she said we should do something crazy.  She wanted to go cliff-diving. She suggested that we swim out to the large rock we saw and then jump off of it into the cold water. I wasn't fond of the idea, but I knew Heaven. I knew that once she puts her mind to something, she never gives up. Ever. So, I agreed.

    The next morning, she woke me up at seven. We said goodbye to our parents and they made us promise to be safe. 

    "You ready for this?" Heaven asked me as I dipped my foot into the frigid water.

    "THIS WATER IS FREEZING," I hollered.

    Heaven just laughed. "Well, of course it is! You'll survive... I promise. Let's go!" She ran out until she was waist-deep, and then she started swimming. I was right next to her, though this was likely the coldest water I had ever experienced.

    We made it there in no time, and we hiked up the rocky trail. "I'm so excited!"

    "Same," I agreed. But I was 75% terrified.
