He was standing right infront of me and that's something I never expected he had come here to talk to my parents and that's not possible not today atleast.

"J what are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Is this the way you treat your guests beautiful?" He asked me.

"J it's not the time" I asked him to leave.

"There you are I have been waiting for you." My bro yelled from behind me.

"Hey Rishab " J replied.

"What is all this?" I asked my bro in the most angry tone.

"My friend here came to talk to my dad" he simply replied.

"Why?!" I almost yelled.

"You'll know" J simply replied in a calm tone.

Damn these two I'm so doomed.
With that my father entered the living room. Where I was trying my best to stop those two.

"Who are you?" Was my father's first question seeing J.

"Hello sir I'm Arjun mostly known as Jp owner of Heavens enterprise. I came here to have a word with you" he said with so much ease.

"What is that you want to talk to me?" My dad asked.

"About Maahi" this time my bro spoke.

My throat was getting all dry by now.I had heard his real name for the first time as he never mentioned it.

"What about her. If I'm not wrong you are her boss aren't you? " dad asked.

"Yes sir I'm" Jp replied.

"Go on" my dad asked him while directing him to sit.

"I want to marry Maahi as I love her and I will assure you that I'll keep her happy." He said it just like that.

"Oh" was all my dad said.

"Please dad don't mess it this time" my bro spoke out in a angry tone.

"I never messed anything Rishab." Dad replied.

"Yeah right. Last time I checked you ruined my life by not accepting me and Neha" he almost yelled and yeah that was her name she was the one Ratz loved.

"She was not good enough for you" Dad replied like always.

"And how can you say that. Dad I have been listening to this from a long time please just admit it that you did not like her or you did not like this love marriages at all. But this time I'm not letting you ruin my sister's life you like it or not she is getting married to Jp" he was shouting now.

"You know nothing Rishab"my dad said.

"I don't even want to know" Rishab replied.

"She did not deserve you Rishab" my dad was raising his voice now.

"mind explaining me why?" My bro yelled at dad and I tried calming him.

"I saw her with someone else and not once but many times." He replied leaving all of us in shock.

"Nonsence" was all Ratz said.

"Then why has she not tried to contact you even once" my dad questioned bro and he look confused.

"Go ahead find out we have all day long" dad said.

"I don't know why she is not in contact may be she is married or something" this time ratz voice was calm.

"She is not married" dad told.

"How do you know?" Bro asked turning towards dad now.

"That is not my story to tell" dad replied.

"Rishab why don't you call her and make everything clear" Jp spoke now.

"I don't trust him" bro said.

"Ratz just one call please clear this out please ratz for me" I pleaded him.

"Fine..!! I'll call her and put the phone on speaker you all will know yourself" he snapped at us and dailed the number and placed the phone on coffee table so that we all could here.

"Hi who is this?" Neha spoke from the other side.

"Its me Rishab" bro replied.

"Who?" She asked again.

"You don't remember me. We dated for 3 years Neha." My bro said.

"Oh Rishab ah it just slipped out of my mind I'm sorry." She said and ratz had a shocked face.

"How are you?" Bro asked her.

"I'm fine all fine" she said in a happy tone which was not expected.

I remember bro telling me that she loved him a lot and this behaviour of her made me confused.

"Babe come soon" we heard someone's voice as though he was calling Neha.

"Okay gotta go my boyfriend is here" she said.

"How long are you with him " bro asked her.

"Almost 6 years. And yeah I dated you as well I only wanted to make him jealous but you got serious and proposed me for the marriage you messed everything up but thanks to your dad he did not approve and I got my chance to breakup with you and yeah I was planning to tell this to you but your dad saw me with him a few times so I guessed you would know about it. Anyway gotta go bye" she said hanging up the phone.

There was a weird silence no one spoke anything.

"I would never want you to be unhappy....not with a girl like that Rabu" after a long time dad called Ratz with that name he use to call him that when he was young.

Ratz hugged my dad and started crying like a baby.

"I'm sorry dad I should have listened to you I'm so sorry" he said while crying.

"Its okay Rabu you are my son I would do anything to see you happy" he replied.

I was just looking at them in awe and dad called me as well for the hug. It was a family hug indeed after a long time.We heard someone clear their throat and that's when I remembered that J was still here.

"I guess I'll come some other time" Jp said.

"No you and I need to talk" my dad said him.

"Sure sir" J replied.

"So you want to marry her?" Dad asked.

"Yes sir" he replied.

"Mahu you want to marry him" dad asked calling me with a long lost pet name.

"Yes dad" I said that out loud like a idiot.

"Okay then I'll meet your parents" was all dad said.

"Umm sir" J replied.

"What's the matter your parents did not agree. I can talk to them if you want" dad asked.

"No sir...ummm actually they came with me." He said giving me a mini heart attack.

"What do you mean" dad asked.

"When I told them I want to get married they came from Australia and they are out" J said making me go crazy now.

"That eger huh" ratz teased J.

"Crazy boy ask them to come in why are you making them wait outside. Mahi go call your maa. Rabu set up the couch" dad instructed us and we did as he told.

"You are still here go call them in" dad told J.

"Yes I'll " and he went out.

"Mahu where is maa" dad asked me.

"She will be here in 5" I yelled from the kitchen where I did my best to grab anything that's eatable.

"Go put on some good clothes" dad said from behind.

"That won't be required dad I'm fine" I said to him.

"I want you to look your best they are seeing you for the first time.. go quickly." Dad told me while pushing me out of the kitchen I missed these moments with dad for a long time but thanks to J I'm able to relive it again.

I rushed to my room and picked the best dress I got dressed up and went down and saw that maa had already returned and they all were having a conversation which was stopped the moment I entered.

I saw J getting up from his seat he walked and stood right infront of me even before I could say anything he bend down on one knee and took a ring from his pocket and asked.

"Will you marry me beautiful?"

And I frooze though I wanted this I wanted him to propose me infront of my family yet I was speechless.
