I'm getting engaged in a week now and I'm getting all the shopping done for me and Kush as  well I can't believe I'm getting engaged to her.

"How is this?" Kush asked me.

"Won't suit you" I replied for nth time now.

"I'm going home select what you want." Kush said while grabbing her bag.

"Kush it's not good" I said while stopping her.

"You have been telling that for almost all the rings we saw." She got irritated as I was not liking even one ring since we came here.

"Okay okay kush one last set of rings please." I pleaded.

"One last!" She agreed.

As I was looking for the rings I found one ring which was very beautiful and even she loved it.

"It's lovely" she said.

And the best part was it fitted her perfectly like it was made for her. I kissed her head and we left for home.

When we reached home maa was busy preparing list for various things.

"How was the shopping?" She asked.

"Thanks to the great God he liked one ring" kush told maa while laughing.

"Ahhh stop it now" I said her.

"Let's have dinner then" maa said.

"I'll serve today" I insisted and maa agreed after a argument.

The days flew off real quick and it was the day of our engagement.

"Nervous I asked kush" as I saw her breathing deeply for 5th time.

"Yeah" she said.

"It's gonna be fine." I said while kissing her head.

"Congratulations!!!" My friends yelled in one tone.

They were all surprised and happy for the both of us.

We had a awesome time and yeah kush looked beautiful as always and I loved the way she was smiling and looking fresh even though she was tierd once the function was over we finally got some time alone.

"That was one long function." Kush told.

"Yeah it was." I replied in a low tone.

We were seated on the couch I had kept my head on her shoulder and she had kept her head on mine. Maa came out of no where and took a picture of mine and Kush.

"Maa not now!" Kush yelled.

"It looks cute I'm gonna tag it to all" maa said smiling and left us alone again.

"Are you happy?" Kush asked me.

"More than that" I replied.

"How about you?" I asked her.

"Never thought this would be a reality. That misunderstanding we had made me so broken and everything I thought I had lost you forever but you came in my life again and that to so soon I was happy that atleast you are around me. I would have lived like that forever. But you being you made me happy by telling me that you still love me and more happier when you came down running asking maa to get us engaged. Wouldn't have asked for more thanks." She said and had tears in her eyes.

"Hey kush baby why you crying. See now everything is fixed and I''ll make sure this never changes we never change I'm going to make sure you won't be upset ever." I concolled her.

"Okay then let's eat something you must be hungry as well right?" She said.

"Yeah please get it soon" I replied.

Khushi.

I went to get food for him as he prepared to watch some movie.

"Here" I said giving him the plate.

"Thank you my would be wife" he said smiling at me.

"You are welcome my would be hubby" I said sitting on the couch.

"You are planning to extend the leave?" I asked him.

"Yes" he simply replied smiling.

"But you should go viji the company needs you. They won't tell anything that does not mean you just stay at home" I explained him.

"But I want to spend more time with you kush" he said in a sad tone.

"You have spent enough time now it's time you concentrate on your work." I said.

"But..."

"You have a important meeting coming with the owner of Heavens Enterprise. What's his name?" I cut him off reminding him about the meeting he had for the joint venture.

"Oh yeah him he is JP very rude and cold that's what I have heard about him. And yeah you are right I guess I start working now and the best part you will also be there with me so it's not a problem to me atleast." He said.

"Okay that's like a good boy" I said while tapping his shoulder.

We continued watching the movie and finally dossed off in sleep.

****Next day****

"Hey congratulations!!!" I was greeted by Hanna with the tightest hug ever. And to make things worse viji hugged me from the other side and I was completely squeezed between the two.

"Cant breath" I struggled those words out.

"Sorry" both said together.

"If the congratulations is done can we work." I said.

We all went to our desk and started to work and I did not realise that it was luch time already. My phone started ringing and it was viji.

"Yes" I asked.

"Come to my cabin I  ordered your favorite food." He said.

"I'm coming" I said hanging up.

"Hmmm smells good" I said as soon as I entered his cabin.

"Yeah come" he said.

And while We were enjoying our lunch there was a knock on the door. And it was viji's PA.

"Yes tell me" viji asked her.

"Sir Mr.Jp had called a while ago he said he is extremely sorry that he cannot come for the meeting on the scheduled time as he is getting engaged on the same day." She said.

"Tell him it's not a problem and yeah don't forget to send him flowers" viji replied.

"Sure sir" She said and left.

"That's shocking" viji said.

"What's shocking" I asked him.

"JP is getting engaged. As far as I know he is meant for his rude attitude and cold heart" he said.

"I guess he got someone who warmed his heart" I replied with a smile.

"Yeah I guess" he said.

And I thought to myself that love really has the power to change a person completely I guess that's what happen with Jp and his beautiful would be wife.

This chapter was much shorter but it just got extended.

And yeah like you can see Maahi and JP  has almost come in Vijay and khushi's life.There more to that meeting of their's.
