Chapter 9
Sorry for the Feels chapters, here's some fluff for you.

Lance dragged his bags down the driveway, his teeth clenched, tears threatened his eyes. The once ocean blue color in his eyes was now a dull grey.
"Lance, you get back here this instant, you shit!" Lance's dad called, anger and sadness clear in his voice. He had now stepped outside into the cool night air.
Lance turned sharply, "Mama told me to leave! I'm listening to her! Not you!-"
"You little piece of shit!!" He grabbed a wine bottle and chucked it at Lance, "Get back over here!"
Lance screamed as the wine bottle crashed against his arm, causing him to drop his bags. He quickly grabbed his arm, crying out as blood ran down his arm. The Bitch hit me! He began crying.
"Get back over here. Now" Lance's dad said, coldly and sternly. Dead silence went between them, the darkness seemed to go still, the flashing street lights had stopped flashing, as if it didn't want to break the silence. Lance, holding back screams of anger, cried as blood dripped off of his arm and onto the ground.
Lance didn't move, "M-Mama, said.. to move away.." Lance said, walking forwards.
"Mama said, You didn't come to my birthdays" Lance clenched his jaws, now only a few steps away from his dad.
"Mama said-" Lance reached out his arm, and swiped towards his dad, "To ALWAYS be strong!"
Smack.
Lance stood, glaring at his dad and he fell to the ground, and looked up at Lance. Lance's fist was clenched as he had it held up. A fire blazed in Lance's chest,
"And I will be strong!" He screamed at his dad, "you hear me!? I won't let you break me!" Lance said it louder.
His dad looked around, and lance felt greatful no one was around to watch this.
Lance took a deep breath and grabbed his bags, ignoring the blood that trickled down his arm like a slow stream. He began walking away, "don't think I'm coming back to you."

Lance walked into Keith's door, and was surprised to see Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, and Keith all sitting on Keith's couch, holding playing cards.
"LANCE WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED!?" Pidge screeched, tossing her cards and dashing over to lance, examining the deep wound in his arm, "Its bleeding like crazy!!"
Keith growled, "It was your dad, wasn't it" He dashed to the kitchen and grabbed wrap. He dashed back over to lance and kneeled down, "There's glass pieces stuck in your arm, Lance!" Keith frowned, and dragged lance to the couch, making him sit down.
"Do you think we should take Lance to the hospital?" Hunk asked, nervously glancing at everyone, and Shiro nodded after a few moments.
"We probably should-" Shiro had began to say, but Keith already had Lance in his arms and was carrying him out to Shiro's car.
"You'll be okay Lance" Keith said, "You'll be okay"
***
Lance laid in a bed at the hospital, looking at the doctor as she hovered over him, "This stuff is going to make you sleep so we can work on your arm, okay sir?" She said, and Lance nodded.
"I'll be right here the whole time" Keith looked at Lance, holding his free hand. Lance dimly wondered why Keith was the one to be in there, when he closed his eyes.
Lance opened his eyes to an open field, petals fell from the light blue sky, and the trees and grass swayed around him. Lance looked forwards and gasped as he spotted his mother. She walked over to him and smiled.
Lance felt tears run down his face as he dashed over and held out his arms to hug his mom, and she caught him in her own hug.
"M-Mama?" Lance asked, tightening his hug and ignoring the petals that swirled around them.
"Yes, Lance?" Katie asked, smiling at home her eyes wishful and bright, the eyes that always made Lance smile.
"Did you ever talk to the person who hit your car?" Lance asked, looking at her. He gulped when she gave a nod, "Yes Lance. I saw the familiar man, in a familiar car.." she sighed.
Lance felt his stomach go cold, "N-No.. it wasn't.." he looked down and closed his eyes as his mother's words faded.
"Yes dear. It was your father. That's why he didn't come to visit me.."
