Ana makes it to the nearest hospital and asks for Mason. "Are you family?" She asks and Ana shakes her head trying to catch her breath.

"I'm his ma-wife." She corrects knowing that they won't let her see if unless she was family or his wife.

"He's still in surgery, but the Doctor will come out and talk to you when he's done." The lady says and Ana's eyes widen more.

"Ok, what about Theo Fairchild. I'm his sister." The receptionist looks at her after looking at the computer.

"I'm sorry, but they couldn't save him. They did everything they could." Ana stares at the lady shaking her head.

"No, no you're lying." She says and the lady looks at her sorry.

"Is there someone I can call?" She asks grabbing the phone.

"They are my only family," Ana says and the lady gives her a pitiful look. Ana doesn't listen to what the lady says as she sinks to the floor. Her wolf still isn't talking to her and it makes her feel even more alone.

"Yes thank you." Ana hears. She opens her eyes quickly and sees Grace nodding to a women. She sits up from the chair she's on. "Ana, hey." She says and Ana looks at her face.

"M-my b-b-brother-"

"Shh I know." She says pulling Ana into her. Grace sees David come back. "How is he?" She asks and Ana lifts up her tear filled face.

"He'll be ok. I got one of our doctors to take care of everything and he should fine to leave tomorrow or the next day. He needs a lot of rest though." He says taking a seat next to Grace. "You can go see him." He says before Grace pulls him into her. Ana gets up on shaky feet and then turns to ask the room number. "Down the hall, to the left." Grace says and Ana nods.

She makes her way down the hallway, goes to the left, and walks into the first room. She sees Mason laying out on the hospital bed. She sees scraps all over his face and he has bandages everywhere on him. Ana brings her hand up to her mouth as tears stream down her face. "I-i'm s-sorry. I s-shouldn't h-have made y-y-you go." She says taking a seat next to him. Then she takes a sharp intake of breath. "I hurt you. I was told I would, but I didn't listen." She says and begins to shake. "What h-have I d-done?" She says and backs away from Mason. She pushes herself into the corner of the room and knocks on the floor.

A doctor comes in and is shocked to see Ana on the floor. "Miss are you alright?" He asks noticing her hands are bloody as she hits the ground and she has tears running down her face. She doesn't look up at the doctor and continues to hit the ground. He begins to walk towards her and she looks up.

"Don't." She says and he stops looking at her confused. David and Grace walk into the room and look at Ana. David makes his way towards her, but she pushes further against the wall. "Leave me alone." She says rocking in place. The doctor looks at the two of them.

"Is she alright?" He asks and Grace stares at Ana.

"Her brother passed away and her mate's in this bed, so probably not," Grace says not taking her eyes off Ana.

"Ana" David looks back at her. "she has a mental problem and sometimes gets into these episodes. We'll just keep a watch on her." He says and the doctor looks back at Ana.

"Well if she needs anything, just call. I just came in to check on your brother." The doctor then walks over and begins to make sure everything is alright. "He's on the right track." The doctor says and looks over at David and Grace. "And if any of you need anything just ask." He says glancing at Ana against the wall.

"Thanks for coming in for us, and we will." David says and the doctor nods.

"Ana, can you stop. You're hurting yourself." Grace says and Ana shakes her head and continues to knock the ground. "I'm going to talk to my pack doctor and see if I can get something for Ana." She says and begins to leave the room.

"I'll come with." David says and exits the room

Ana ends up falling asleep in the corner and Mason takes up around two in the morning. He groans as his whole body hurts. David sits up in his chair and looks at his brother. "What's going on?" He asks taking in his surroundings.

"You and Theo got into a car crash." David says and Mason's eyes widen as he remembers.

"How is he? He was hurt really bad." He asks and David looks down. It's quiet for a minute. 

"He didn't make it."

"Hows Ana taking it?" He asks and then sees her in the corner. He sees her hands on the floor and that they're all battered up. "What happened?" He says staring at her.

"She had a breakdown. She wouldn't let any of us near her and Grace's old pack doctor tried to help her, but then she started to scream. We couldn't do anything." He says looking at his concerned brother. He tries to sit up and groans. "Don't do that." His brother scolds.

"Look at her hands." He says and David nods. "I have to help-"

"You need to stay in bed. She's fine and we are in a hospital." David reminds him. He takes a deep breath. "I have to leave in about four hours. You need to take it easy. I have to go to work and Grace is at home." He says and Mason nods, but looks at his mate. "You should go back to sleep." He says and Mason nods laying his head down but looking at Ana.

He falls back asleep and David gets up and leaves to go to work. Ana wakes up after hearing him go and looks frantically around the room. She sees Mason still asleep. Slowly she stands and makes her way towards him. Hot tears roll down her cheeks again and she puts her small hand to his face. "I am really sorry." She brings her hand back as he begins to move.

Ana moves back and then runs out the room. What are you doing? Her wolf finally talks to her. I can't be near him, I'll end up hurting him again. What if he is killed next time? She says worried. That wouldn't happen. It's not your fault. Her wolf tries to reason, but Ana shakes her head. She keeps up trying to find her way out of the hospital and then runs into someone. "Sorry." She says looking at the man.

"Ana, right?" He questions and Ana looks at him confused, but nods. "David just left. Do you need something?" He asks. This must be Grace's pack doctor, she thinks before answering him.

"No, I-I was just taking a walk." She says and he looks at her strangely.

"Alright. If you need anything just ask." He says before walking the way she came. Ana then exits the building and begins walking.

Mason wakes up confused. He thought he felt Ana by him, but no one is in the room. He groans as he tries to sit up again. A doctor then walks into the room. "You need to lay back down." He says and lightly pushes Mason back down.

"There was a woman in here, did you happen to see her?" He asks and the doctor nods.

"She ran into me. Said she was going for a walk." He says and Mason looks at him confused.

"A walk to where?" He asks and the doctor looks back over at him.

"I don't know." He says and Mason puts his head back against the pillow.

"She just lost her brother. She shouldn't be wandering around right now, especially without someone." He says and the doctor finishes writing stuff down.

"Is she a risk to anyone?" He asks concerned.

"Just herself." He says and the doctor walks back out the room in a rush.
