"I'm gonna strangle you soon," Mason says swatting his brother way. David steps back with his hands in the air. "I'm fine, just leave me alone." He says and David puts his hands down.

"It wasn't your fault he passed," David says and Mason looks up at him.

"I know that." He replies and David slowly walks out of his room. He makes his way to the living room when he sees Ana sitting on the windowsill. He feels anger boil inside of him.

"Ana." He says. She looks over at him startled. "You need to talk to him." He says and Ana shakes her head staring back out the window. He walks over to her and slams his hands down. "You haven't talked to him in almost two weeks, grow up and talk to him." David says annoyed.

"Just back off." Ana says and he pushes away from the counter.

"It wasn't his fault, and ignoring him isn't going to solve anything." David says and Ana turns towards him.

"I know it's not his fault." She yells back at him holding tears in.

"Than-wait, what? If you know why aren't you talking to him?" David asks confused. Ana takes in breathes trying to calm herself down.

"It's my fault that my brother is dead. I made both of them go and look what happens when people get close to me. First my parents, then my brother, almost Mason. Staying away will help him. I'll be leaving, I just need to find another place to live ok." She says trying to stop the tears from falling. David doesn't get to say anything because Mason walks right past him and towards Ana.

She looks at him and hops down to get around him, but he grabs her by the waist. "Mason let go of me." She says not looking at him.

"No, you're not leaving me, Ana." He says hearing everything that was said between the two. David leaves the room to give them some privacy.

"You don't understand. Mas-"

"I don't care. You didn't hurt me. It was another driver that went head on at us. It was there fault only. Don't you dare blame your family's deaths on yourself. You haven't done anything wrong." He says tilting her face towards him.

"They said I'd hurt you and look what happened." She says looking away from him.

"The voices are just trying to scare you, and what happened to coming to me when you heard them?" He asks staring down at her.

"I just can't lose you too." She says and begins to let her tears come out. Mason pulls her into his chest loving her back in his arms.

"You aren't going to lose me." He says and Ana nods wiping her eyes. Mason focuses on her beaten hands, she continues to knock on things and they aren't getting any better. "You need these wrapped up." He says taking one of her hands. Ana looks down and nods.

The two of them walk to the bathroom slowly for Mason. His ribs still haven't healed completely and then being neglected from his mate wasn't helping. Ana puts her hands under the sink and washes dried blood way. She hadn't noticed she'd made them bleed earlier. Once her hands are clean she dries them and Mason begins putting ointment on them. Once her hands are wrapped in gauze they make her way out of the bathroom and into their room.

Ana makes Mason lay down carefully before laying down at his side. "I'm sorry." She says touching his face and Mason shakes his head.

"There is nothing for you to be sorry about." He says back and Ana stares into his eyes.

"I love you, Mason." She says and he smiles.

"I love you, Ana." He says and they both lean in for a heartwarming kiss.

Grace makes her way towards the car as David gives his brother a hug before leaving. "Call me when the little guy decides to come to our world." Masons says and his brother nods.

"I will. Don't get too crazy with the house to yourself." David says smirking at his brother's face.

"Get otta here." Mason says and pushes his brother out of the house. He hears his brother's laughter fade away. He shakes his head and walks to the patio, where Ana is sitting. She seems to be thinking hard about something. "Whatcha thinking about?" He asks and wraps his arms around her.

"Do you think that Alpha is going to come back after us?" She asks and Mason looks at her confused.

"Why are you thinking about that?" He says and she turns towards him.

"What are we going to do if he does?" She says with tears beginning to form in her eyes.

"I doesn't matter if he does because he won't be able to hurt you." Mason says and Ana smiles up at him.

"Let's go for a run." She says and Mason's wolf gets all excited. They both begin running to race each other.

"You so cheated," Ana says to him in the lake.

"How so?" He asks and she rolls her eyes.

"Well let me see, about about pulling me and then pushing me under water." She says splashing him. He just laughs and splashes her back. She coughs making him look at her worriedly. He swims closer and when he's right in front of her she splashes him and tries to push him under the water.

"You little-" He gets splashed again. This time he grabs for her, but she swims backwards laughing as he swims after her. It doesn't take long for him to catch up with her and pull her towards him. Ana squeals and turns back to him. She giggles as he holds her, but then she sees Mason's eyes flash to black and blushes realizing that being naked must be causing some emotions.

"Let's go back to the house." She says and he lets go nodding his head. Ana laughs and he glares at her.

"Not my fault my beautiful mate makes me all-" Ana plugs her ears making Mason laugh at her innocence.

Ana changes back into her wolf once she's out of the water and they begin to make their way back to the house.

The two race and goof off while going back to the house. Ana goes up onto the patio before shifting back into her human form. Mason shifts and tries to keep his head out of the gutter when he sees his mate.

It doesn't help when she turns back to him and flashes a smile. He keeps pushing his wolf down knowing she's not ready. "You alright Mason?" She asks as they enter the house. He nods his head, but doesn't look at her making her worried. "Mason." She says stopping in front of him and putting her hand on his chest to stop him. This doesn't help him and he closes his eyes.

"Ana, you really need to just leave me alone." He says and Ana looks at him confused. She brings her hands to his face.

"Mason look at me." She says and he takes a deep breath.

"Ana, I can't control myself with you like this. You need to get clothes on." He says and Ana realizes why he wanted her to leave. She goes bright red and smiles a little.

"That's ok." She says and he snaps his eyes to her.

"W-what did you just say?" He asks stuttering. Ana laughs and leans into him.

"I don't care if you can't control yourself." She whispers in his ear. She laughs as he looks at her shocked, but to shut her up he kisses her. She moves along with him and knows that she trusts him with her and nothing is going to separate them.

"Ana are you sure?" Mason asks breaking the kiss resting his forehead on hers.

"Mason I love you and know you wouldn't do anything to hurt me." She says and Mason smiles before picking her up and kissing her again.
