Avery's POV
It's been a week since me and Jackson been talking and trying to work on us. It's been going great so far except for Layla being pissed at me for even trying to work things out with Jackson.
I wake up in Jackson's arms and I softly smile. I look up at him as he kisses me on the lips. "I'm glad you decided to give us another chance." He says as he slowly pulls his lips away. I pout as I begin to say. "Yeah me too." He asks. "What we doing today bae?" I sit up as I look at him. "I thought you was going with Caleb." He says. "Nah I want to spend time with my baby." I softly smile as I say. "Boy you been spending time with me for 2 weeks straight." He looks at me funny. "And,What that got to do with anything?" I shake my head as I make my way to the bathroom to do my morning routine. As I get ready for the day I decide on what outfit I'm going to wear. I finish up in the bathroom and go to my walk in closet. As I'm getting dressed I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I slightly smile. "Noooo move Jackson." He kisses me on my neck and let's me go as he starts to analyze my outfit. "Bae we got to make a quick stop." I finish getting dressed and walk out the closet.

I look at him. "Stop where?" He walks up behind me and wraps his arms around me again. "Over Caleb's house." I roll my eyes as he grabs my chin and makes me look up at him. "Bae it's only going to take a minute I promise." I pout and he pecks my lips. "I want a real kiss bae." He kisses me passionately and starts to pull away. "You know I love you right." I say. "Yea bae and I love you too." He hugs me tightly as he says. "You better love me." I playfully roll my eyes as I try to get out of his grip. "Where you think you going?" He asks as he pulls me back closer to him. "Bae move I got to get my purse and keys." He slowly starts to let me go. As we make our way downstairs and to the front door the door bell starts to ring. Jackson looks at me. "You expecting someone?" I shake my head no as I begin opening the door. Layla and Zoey are standing on the other side of the door. Zoey says. "Where you been,because yo ass been Mia." Layla makes a smart comment. " she probably been with that no good ass nigga." Jackson comes up behind me and says. "Why you here if you just going to be negative?" I say. "Look Layla I gave him another chance,so if you can't accept that then why you keep coming over here." Zoey tries to stop the situation from exalting. "We just came over here to check up on you because you weren't answering your phone." I say. "I'm sorry I'll answer next time,but what happened with you and your bf." Zoey says. "I think I found someone new." We all leave the house going our separate ways. As me and Jackson get in the car he says to me. "I know you and Caleb don't get along,but I promise we won't be over here long." I roll my eyes as he starts the car and pulls off. I ask. "I know it's not you,but can you please try to be nice." He says to me. "Bae she don't want us together." I sigh. "She's not going to try to break us up." My phone lights up indicating that I got a notification.

I unlock my phone and decide to text her back.

I get irritated and lock my phone up. Jackson asks. "What's wrong with you?" I say. "It's nothing bae." We pull up at Caleb's house and Jackson gets out. I stay in the car for a minute and reluctantly get out. Caleb greets me at the door. "Wassup Avery." I roll my eyes and walks past him. Caleb's girlfriend says. "Hey Avery." I softly smile. "Hi girl." Caleb and Jackson disappear as me and Caleb's girl start holding a conversation. Jackson says. "You ready to go bae?" I get up and we walk outside to the car and get inside. Jackson looks over at me as he rubs my thighs. "You good bae." I look over at him and see he has a worried look on his face. "Bae don't worry I'm fine." He sighs as he starts the car and drive off. "Good,but you know you can talk to me right?" I say. "Yeah bae I know." He drives off and asks. "You hungry?" I glare over at him. "Now you know I don't turn down food." He laughs and drives to a food restaurant. I stare out the window as he drives off. We get our food and he pulls over in the parking lot. As he parks the car and turn on the music. We start eating and vibing. I start to get lost in my thoughts. He asks. "Bae what you thinking about?" I say. "Us." He replies with. "I'm just glad there is an us." I glance at him. "Me too." I finish my food and we finish vibing. I start to get a little tired and lean my seat back. As I close my eyes I drift off to sleep.
Jackson's Pov
Me and Avery been working on our relationship for about a week now. I think I been slowly gaining her trust back. I've been laying awake for awhile now and I feel Avery move as she looks up at me. I softly kiss her on the lips as I say to her. "I'm glad you decided to give us another chance." I pull away. She pouts as I begin to laugh at her. She says as she hits me "Yeah me too and it's not funny bae." I ask. "What we doing today bae?" She sits up as She looks at me. "I thought you was going with Caleb." I say. "Nah I want to spend time with my baby." I pull her closer to me and wrap my arms around her. She says. "Boy you been spending time with me for 2 weeks straight." I side eye her. "And,What that got to do with anything?"  Avery shakes her head as she gets up. I check my phone and see I got a text from Caleb.

I get up and throw my phone on the bed as I see Avery walk in the closet. I watch her get dress for a minute and I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist. She giggles. "Noooo move Jackson." I kiss her on the neck and let her go. I glance at her outfit and slap her ass. "Bae we got to make a quick stop." I walk out the closet and sit back on the bed. She comes out the closet. "Stop where?" I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her again. "Over Caleb's house." I can tell she gets irritated so I  grab her chin and make her look up at me. "Bae it's only going to take a minute I promise."  She starts pouting again and I peck her lips. "I want a real kiss bae." She says. I kiss her passionately and start to pull away. "You know I love you right." She responds back. "Yea bae and I love you too." I hug her tightly and say. "You better love me." She rolls her eyes playfully at me as she tries to get out of my grip. "Where you think you going?" I ask as I try to pull her back closer to me. "Bae move I got to get my purse and keys." I let her go As we make our way downstairs and to the front door the door bell starts to ring. I ask. "You expecting someone?" She shakes her head no and opens the door. Layla and Zoey are standing on the other side of the door. Zoey says. "Where you been,because yo ass been Mia." Layla makes a smart comment. " she probably been with that no good ass nigga." I walk up on them and hear Layla's smart remark. "Why you here if you just going to be negative?" Avery says to her.
"Look Layla I gave him another chance,so if you can't accept that then why you keep coming over here." Zoey tries to stop the situation from exalting. "We just came over here to check up on you because you weren't answering your phone."
Avery apologizes to them. Zoey says. "I think I found someone new." We all leave the house going our separate ways. As me and Avery get in the car I say to her. "I know you and Caleb don't get along,but I promise we won't be over here long." I start the car and pulls off. Avery says. "I know it's not you,but can you please try to be nice." I say to her. "Bae she don't want us together." She sighs. "She's not going to try to break us up." Her phone lights up indicating that she got a notification. I continue to drive to Caleb's house. I get out as she stays in the car for a minute. As I walk up to the door I see Caleb standing in the doorway. Avery gets out the car as Caleb greets her. Me and Caleb walk towards the back of the house. Caleb asks. "So, you and Avery good now?" I say. "Yea that's my baby." He shakes his head. "Should've stayed with Jane." I say to him. "You knew I didn't want no damn Jane." I walk off from him and over to Avery. "You ready to go bae?" She gets up and we walk outside to the car and get inside. I look over at her as I rub her thigh. "You good bae." She looks over at me. "Bae don't worry I'm fine." I sigh as I start the car and drive off. "Good,but you know you can talk to me right?" She says. "Yeah bae I know." I ask. "You hungry?" She replies with.
"Now you know I don't turn down food." I start to  laugh and drive to a food restaurant. We get our food and I decide to pull over in the parking lot. As I park the car and turn on the music. We start eating and vibing. I notice Avery is in her own little world right now. I let her be for a few minutes. I interrupt her and ask. "Bae what you thinking about?" She says. "Us." I reply with. "I'm just glad there is an us." She glances at me. "Me too." I notice that she's getting sleepy,so I put the car in reverse and drive to her house. As I'm driving my phone starts ringing. I check my phone and press decline. I pull up in her driveway and put the car in park and turn the ignition off. I get out the car and pick Avery up and make our way in the house. I make my way upstairs to her room and lay her in the bed. I kiss her on the forehead and make my way downstairs and watch tv on the couch.
