Chapter 11

I woke up the next morning after the horrible incident to find George's arms wrapped around me. I looked up at him and smiled a little. He was still asleep, but he had a faint smile on his face.

I watched the steady rising and falling of his chest. He looked so peaceful and calm. I moved a little closer to him and rested my head against his chest, closing my eyes again.

I laid there quietly so I wouldn't wake him up and listened to his shallow, steady breathing and the gentle beating of his heart. Laying there in his arms and just knowing he loved me, I realized just how much I truly wanted to be with him. And I realized that whenever I was wrapped in his arms, I felt like I was home. I hadn't really felt like that with anyone else. And I didn't want to lose him. Not again. I just wanted to stay in his arms for as long as I could hold on.

George groaned a little and his eyes fluttered open. I opened my eyes and looked up at him. He smiled softly and kissed my forehead. "Good morning, beautiful," he whispered, pulling me closer to him. I kissed him gently, running my hand through his soft brown hair. "Good morning, sweetheart."

"You sleep well?" He asked. I nodded. "Very well actually." I sighed a little and bit my lip. "Look, I'm sorry about last night. I've held in my emotions for so long.. That's the first time they've gotten to me in a while.. I just sort of...broke I guess." George tucked my bangs behind my ear. "It's alright, sweetheart. I understand. I just don't like to see you hurt yourself like that."

"Everything hurts, and I just want to make it go away.." George softly placed his hand on my cheek. "Please just remember what I told you. You're honestly the most beautiful and sweetest girl in the entire world, and I wouldn't ever give you up for anything." I nodded "I promise I won't forget." I smiled at him. "I love you so much, George.."

"I love you, too, Aurora." George got up, and I sat on the edge of the bed. He picked out a casual outfit, just jeans and a simple button-up shirt, and he started unbuttoning his pajama shirt. Before then I had never seen George with his shirt off, and for some reason it made me a little nervous.

George got dressed. He fixed his collar and his hair in front of the mirror quickly, then looked at me again. "Would you mind doing something today, sweetheart? I don't have to go to the studio or anything." He said quietly. "I would love to, George." I raised an eyebrow. "Anything specific you had in mind?" George smirked a little. "Well, we could go out for dinner tonight and maybe do something back here afterwards."

I nodded and smiled. "That sounds wonderful. What are we going to do in the meantime though?" I asked. He thought for a moment. "Why don't we go to London for a while?" I nodded again. "Alright. I'll go get dressed then."

I picked out a short blue dress then walked down the hall and into the bathroom. I got dressed and put on a tiny bit of makeup. I pulled my hair into a simple ponytail and let it hang off my left shoulder. I then walked into the bedroom again. George was sitting on the edge of the bed, looking out the window.

He looked over at me as I walked in and smiled. "How are you so beautiful..?" I blushed lightly and laughed some. "I am in no way beautiful, love." George stood up and walked over to me, taking my hand in his and entangling our fingers. He gently kissed my cheek. "You are to me."

We walked down the hall to the front door, and I put on my heels. "You ready then?" George asked me. I nodded, and we headed outside into the warm spring air. It was a beautiful day. Everything was so quiet and peaceful.

George waved a taxi over and we both climbed in. As we headed off, I looked out the window at the fleeting houses and sighed a little. George looked over at me. "Something wrong?" I looked at him and shook my head. "No. It's just a bit strange leaving and all. I haven't really been anywhere else in a long while."

"Ah, I see.. I suppose it is a tad bit strange leaving home. You kind of lose your security in a way." George wrapped his arm around my waist, and I rested my head in the crook of his neck. He looked out the window for a while before saying anything again. "It's nice to get away from everything though.."
