Chapter four

"Harry!" Raven yelled, running up to the younger boy and throwing her arms around him. She had proven to be quite close to the boy and always helped him when she could, on top of this, the two were pretty close.
"Hey Raven." The bespectacled boy answered her, as she finally removed her arms from around his neck. They were joined by the twins, Hermione and Ginny. Hermione soon took Raven's place, hugging Harry. Even Reece gave the boy a quick hug. The two often had a few chats now and again and had become somewhat friends.
"How come you never greet us like that?" George asked, looking distinctly saddened. She grinned at him.
"Because you aren't as awesome as Harry." she declared. She suddenly jumped up from her slouching position and looked from Harry, to Fred, to George and back again. All three boys frowned at her.
"Did he eat the toffee?" She asked eagerly. Fred and George looked at each other, and then at Harry.
"We don't know, did he?" Their question was directed at Harry. The boy nodded and laughed at the memory.
"Yeah, he did... What was that thing?" Harry asked. Raven, Fred and George grinned at each other.
"Ton tongue toffee." They said in perfect sync.
Mr Weasley appeared in the fireplace, causing everyone to look at him.
"How long did his tongue get?" Fred asked, eagerly awaiting the answer.
"It was nearly four feet long before his parents would let me shrink it." Mr Weasley was looking at the two troublesome Weasleys in disappointment, he was in his 'sensible dad' mode, a thing he was rather bad at, but he tried his best.
"If your mother found out about this-" He began, but was cut off by the woman herself.
"If I found out about what?" Mrs Weasley appeared in the doorway, she did not look impressed.
"I think this is our cue to leave." Raven muttered to Ginny, Reece and the trio. All nodded and they sneaked upstairs together, the twins mouthing 'traitors' at their retreating backs. They gladly left the twins to face their mother's wrath without any moral support.
Ginny and Reece went into her room, but Hermione and Raven followed Harry and Ron into Ron's room.
"Are you not feeling guilty for leaving them down there?" Hermione asked, glancing at the floor nervously as Mrs Weasley's yells floated up through the floorboards. Raven shook her head.
"Nope! Besides theyre big boys now, they don't need me to fight their battles for them." she said. Ron snorted. Both girls looked at him.
"Charming Ronald." they said in sync.
"Not even a bit?" Harry questioned as Mrs Weasley's yells got even louder. All four flinched. Raven shrugged.
"Not even a teensy little bit!" She said cheerfully. Harry laughed and wandered over to the window, staring at the fields and trees surrounding the property. Raven joined him at the window.
"Do you think we will have a normal year this year?" she asked the three younger teens. Ron shrugged, Hermione thought about it, but Harry was the one who answered straight away.
"I doubt it." He stated, laughing to himself about it. Ron nodded in agreement.
"As long as there's no dementors or spiders, I'm fine!" He declared.
"And as long as we don't get another Lockhart for a teacher." Hermione added, sighing dreamily. Ron looked disgusted, as did Raven.
"Seriously, you had a crush on him? Of all people? And especially you Hermione Granger!" The dark-haired girl shrieked.
"What?" Hermione blushed and looked down at her hands in embarrassment.
"Well we have technically been taught defence against the dark arts by voldemort, so I guess anything is possible." Raven said, going back to the earlier conversational subject and looking rather thoughtful. Hermione frowned at her.
"We weren't-" She stopped herself as she realised what the girl was getting at. "I've never really thought about it like that." She admitted.
"You are welcome." Raven grinned at the bushy-haired girl, who smiled and shook her head at her.
"That's our Raven." Harry patted her head proudly. She grinned at him. The four laughed at the 'sibling moment' as they would come to call it later. To both Harry and Raven, each other was the closest thing they had to a sibling.
"You know, Hogwarts was relatively normal before you three showed up." Raven stated, getting three death glares from the group, she just smirked at them and waited for the objections to start, they never did. Instead Harry spoke.
"I bet you're just saying that." He said, she shook her head.
"Well, a couple pranks here and there, no weird teachers and no voldemort stuff." She ticked each thing off with her fingers.
"So boring in other words?" Harry was only joking, but compared to what he, Hermione and Ron had faced, it really did seem boring.
A loud BANG! Alerted them to something that was going on outside, they all went to the window, in order to find out what was going on.
Bill and Charlie, taking advantage of the fact that they weren't in school and were therefore allowed to use magic anytime they wished, had charmed two tables and were making the usually non-lethal pieces of furniture fight to the death. At the moment, bill was winning, but Charlie seemed determined to catch up and was coming back with a vengeance.
It was going to be an interesting fight. But it was not entirely clear who would win, yet.
