Raven stood beside Lee, waiting for the other schools to arrive. She was nervous and also extremely cold. And on top of that she was ignoring George, still. It had been two days, but she hasn't mustered the courage to talk to him. Lee had decided to stay with her, and she was thankful for his presence.

A huge shape appeared in the sky, causing a lot of first years to scream.
A huge carriage, pulled by huge horses, landed in the grounds. The door opened and a large group of boys and girls stepped out, looking rather cold, they were followed by a huge giant of a woman, she looked even taller then Hagrid.

"She's huge." Lee whispered to Raven, the girl could only agree with her friend. She was about to turn to talk to George when she noticed two rings, one she wasn't talking to him, and two Mercury was amongst the Beauxbatons group. She took a step backwards and was about to stand behind Lee, when Mercury locked eyes with her. All she could do was stare back at him. She knew that he was thinking the same she was, 'what the hell are you doing here.'

"Raven what's wrong?" Lee asked her, she tore her gaze away from Mercury to look at him.

"He's here." She mumbled.

"You mean your muggle friend?" He asked. She nodded.

"I don't think he's a muggle." She told him. Lee laughed.

"Come here." Lee pulled her into a hug. She sighed into his shoulder.

"Why do I have to mess everything up?" She asked him.

"You don't mess everything up, you're the most talented person I know. Now come on, the durmstrang kids have already gone inside." Lee took her arm and dragged her away. Raven only had time to quickly glance at the lake to see a huge pirate ship docked there.

They entered the great hall together, the Beauxbatons kids had joined the Ravenclaw table, whilst the Durmstrang lot had joined the Slytherins.

Raven tuned out for the entire feast, barely eating a thing, hee mind was racing, with thoughts of Mercury, George, the kiss. She barely even noticed Mercury grab her arm and drag her out of the room.

"Raven?" She snapped out of her daze and looked at him, hurt in her eyes.

"Mer?" She asked, her eyes were filling up with tears. He pulled her into his chest, it was something he did often, but he had never done it when she was crying. He hadn't seen her cry in years.

"What's wrong?" He asked as she cried into his chest. He was quite a lot taller then her. He was such a comfort to her, she never really realised how much she needed him.

"I've ruined everything." She told him. He shook his head, he was so optimistic, so supportive.

"No, no you haven't. I wish you'd told me you went to Hogwarts though." He said to her, he didn't sound angry, he just sounded worried.

"I'm sorry. " she muttered, she felt like such a failure.

"Hey, hey it's ok." He said to the younger girl.

"So what happened?" He asked her a moment later, when he was sure she wasn't going to speak.

"I kissed George." She sobbed. He froze.

"You kissed him? Then what happened?" Mercury ran a hand through his hair. Keeping one arm comfortingly around the girl's shoulders. He was shocked, and he could tell that she was upset about it.

"I apologised and then he kissed me back and then I ran away. And I haven't talked to him since and I don't know what to do." She explained to him.

"You have to talk to him at some point Raven." Mercury told her. She nodded pathetically.

"I know." She whispered, she didn't want to face up to it, but she valued her friendship with the twins too much to not do anything.

They sat together in a corner of the castle, not saying anything, just enjoying each other's company in a not so awkward silence.

"I missed you." Mercury seemed surprised, but he just smiled at the extremely emotional girl's words. He had missed her too, never dreaming that the next time he saw her would be at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. But things always have a habit of becoming right in the end.

It was definitely going to be an eventful triwizard tournament.
