Chapter ten

"I AM SO TIRED!" Raven declared as George carried her into the boys' tent.
"You aren't and haven't done anything, absolutely nothing!" George exclaimed as he set her down on the sofa.
"I was existing, that was hard enough!" She answered jokingly. He put an arm around her and laughed.
"Well, some of us do value you existence." He told her. She joined in the laughter and shook her head at him.
"Well ain't you a charmer?" She joked. The two exchanged joking replies for a while, until Ginny yelled Raven's name from the door of the tent. She stood up and bowed.
"Looks like this is my cue to leave!" She bid everyone a goodnight and walked to the girls' tent with Ginny. Hermione was already there.
"You know when we go to your theatre?" Ginny asked. Raven groaned and buried her head in her hands.
"I forgot about that." She muttered mournfully.
"What's wrong with it?" Ginny questioned, Raven shrugged.
"I don't know, I just don't want to go back." she answered.
"Well, I was wondering if you would perform for us?" Ginny asked hopefully.
Raven snorted, "Yeah, sure."
"I was being serious!"
"You were?"
"Yes."
"Oh."
"So will you or not?"
"I'll just get the photo album and show you all the shows we've done since 1969."
"Sounds great!"
"I hate you sometimes."
"No you don't."
Raven and Ginny burst into fits if hysterical laughter. Hermione's annoyed sigh could barely be heard over their laughter.
Raven was awoken later that night by George.
"Wha's goin' on?" She asked groggily, opening her eyes slighlty to look at him and frowning at his worried expression.
"We have to go, now!" Sensing the urgency in his tone, she shot bolt up right and looked at him in confusion.
"George, what's going on?" She asked him quietly, fear entering her voice at the look of pure worry on his face. Hermione and Ginny were posing the same questions to Fred and Ron.
"Death eaters, we have to get out of here." George said, deciding that she was taking too long and grabbing her hand, pulling her out of the tent.
"Try not to get separated." Bill advised, coming up behind them with Levi, Reece, Charlie and Percy following behind him. As she hurried along, sandwiched in between Ginny and George, Fred was on Ginny's other side, she had to suppress a scream. Mr Roberts, the campsite owner and his family were being levitated and flung through the air as though they were toys. The people doing it seemed to enjoy themselves immensely, and could swear she recognised the masks they wore. They were similar to the one she thought she had seen Lucius Malfoy wearing. George, sensing her horror, put an arm around her and steered her through the crowd.
"C'mon." He muttered, shielding her from seeing any other tortured muggles with his arm, she was thankful for his presence and it took all of her will power not to start crying.
They gathered in the woods, but had lost most members of their party along the way, Hermione, Ron, Harry, Bill, Levi and Charlie had disappeared.
"Where are the others?" Mr Weasley asked with a sigh, no one answered his question, causing the man to sigh once more.
"Stay here, I'm going to look for them." The man told them, they nodded and he walked back towards the campsite. George pulled Raven into his arms, where she began to cry, unable to hold in her emotions any more. Being muggle-born herself, she was worried that what she had witnessed could happen to her, or others like her. Ginny was also upset, as was Reece, and Fred, George and Raven had pulled them both into a group hug, where both girls managed to stop crying and all five managed to console each other about the safety of the rest of their group. Percy hadn't joined in on this, he had taken to pacing the small clearing they were stood in, the twins, Ginny and Raven were sat on the ground, not speaking, but still supporting each other.
"Maybe we should go back?" Ginny suggested after they had been there a good hour and a half. Percy glared at her and shook his head.
"Father said to stay here." He informed them.
The sounds of footsteps coming towards them, made the four jump up and Percy stop his pacing. All five of them were suddenly on guard.
However, it was only Levi, Charlie and Bill who entered the clearing.
"We should go back, it's safe." Bill told them. It seemed that all three had attempted to fight the death eaters at some point, Bill appeared to be bleeding, Charlie had a rip in his shirt and Levi had a few bruises forming on his jaw, he hugged Reece instantly, the two had become closer, although they already had been close.
"where are dad and the others?" Ginny asked.
"Dad went to get them, but we should get back." Bill was in his 'serious big brother' mode. The tired group nodded and followed him back to the campsite. Ginny and Raven found themselves once again sandwiched in between Fred and George. Raven appreciated this, if they weren't there, she would probably be freaking out.
They finally reached the tent, and upon discovering the others weren't back yet, took refuge in the boys' tent, to wait for the others' return.
"They'll be back soon." Levi told Raven comfortingly, noticing her worried expression. He was sat in between her and Charlie, who seemed to be examining the bruises Levi had worryingly. Levi slapped Charlie's arm as the man continued to worry about his friend, "Charlie, i'm fine! Jeez!". George sat on Raven's other side, but he was talking to Fred, so she engaged in conversation with Levi instead.
"You sure about that?" She asked him, causing him to shake his head.
"no, not really, I'm just hoping really," he answered honestly. His bright mood seemed to help her calm down a little bit. She forced a smile.
"That's what life's about, isn't it?" She asked, causing him to laugh.
"I guess so." He told her.
