Name: "Defect." He stares at you blankly before cracking a small smile. (Cole Hunter)

Age: "Why do you-" He was cut off by a series of wheezes and coughs. (17)

Gender: Cole only rose an eyebrow. (Male)

Sexuality: "So what if I like men and woman?" (Bisexual)

Personality: Cole is rather snarky or ornery when you first get to know him, and can be considered sassy at times. His irritable attitude to strangers was induced by his bullies and mostly his parental figures, who had verbally abused and abandoned him because of his unknown diseases, as the hospital bill was "too high of a price to pay for a defect". This has only made Cole even more distrusting than he had been in the first place. Cole may seem to brush off any abuse now, even joking about his 'Defect' title now and then. However, he gets more guarded than he already is whenever someone else calls him a defect. The verbal abuse from his childhood has lead him to have a few insecurities about himself as well and he lies awake every night contemplating what to do with himself and how long he has to live if his diseases are deadly. Once Cole gets used to you, he is likely to stop being so snappy and rude towards you. However, he only lets down his mental walls when he has full trust in you, which almost never happens.

Likes: Pumpkin pie, pigging out in banquets, eating in general, rainy days, humidity, raccoons

Dislikes: All animals (except raccoons, of course), isolation, being called a defect by someone other than himself, being bullied for his diseases, being treated like a weakling

Appearance: Due to his diseases, Cole has sickly pale skin with barely visible freckles dusting his entire body. His hair is beginning to whiten, leaving a mass of both black and white hair on his head. His eyes, which used to be a beautiful blue, are now a dull mercury color and barely shine except for when he is overjoyed. Being very bony and tall; Cole is very thin as well, surprisingly. The reason he eats so much is to gain weight, but it never works as well as he hopes.

Extras: Cole is adopted, his original parents having abandoned him after he was shown to have odd symptoms and an extremely high metabolism. His diseases were never able to be figured out, and none of his guardians were rich enough (more like they were too cheap) to pay for all of the experimental medicines and shots and such the doctors wanted to give him.

Scene: You're walking through the park when you spot an odd man lying on the bench. His hair is a mixture of monotone colors and he appears to be sleeping, no pillow, no blanket. All he has is his aged brown coat, which seems to be too big for his body.

You're about to walk past when you spot his flushed cheeks that seem way too saturated for his skin tone and the cold sweat running down his forehead. With a bit of worry, you hurry over to check his temperature. If he was sick- and he appeared to be homeless, if he was sleeping on a bench-, you were anxious that he wouldn't survive the upcoming sure-to-be-cold winter.

When your hand brushes his forehead, however, he groans, curls up tighter and tries to push you away.
