She gave my answer a bit of thought before answering.

"Anderson, Anderson, where have I heard that name before?" she mumbled to herself.

"Wait, you've heard of my mother?" I asked.

"Maybe. A lot of supernaturals come around here. This is a supernatural shop after all." she replied.

"Supernatural? Wait, is that why you were asking me those questions?" I asked.

She simply nodded. Then she got on a computer that I didn't notice before.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Looking up your mother's last name. Maybe I could find something on her. Or even find your father." she said.

"What? You could do that?" I asked.

She nodded again.

"How?" She ignored me and continued typing.

"I knew I heard that name before!!" she said suddenly.

"What? Who is she?" I said.

She went pale.

"What is it?"

"How could I have forgotten that?" she mumbled.

"What? What is it?!" I asked.

"I think that it's time for you to leave." she said.

"What? Why?!" I said.

"You need to leave now!! Get out of town. Be as quick as you can. Don't even stop at your house." she said, pushing me towards the door.

"Wait, stop!! Why?!?!" I said.

"I might even be to late. You have to leave. NOW!!!!!!!!" she yelled.

Then she shoved me out of the door, and slammed it shut behind me.

What the heck was that all about?!?! One minute she's helping me, the next minute she's kicking me out?

Well if she reacted that way to who my mom is then maybe I should do as she said.

As I was deep in my thoughts I started walking out of the ally and down the street.

Just then I heard tires screeching. As I turned, I saw a van drive down the street that was next to me.

Then they suddenly parked right next to me, and before I could react someone got out of the van and hit me hard on the back of the head.

And, before I knew it I was dragged into the van as the world around me went black.
