Laura realised that she was still holding Cody's hand. She quickly let it go while saying a goodbye and dashed to math class. She loathed math class. She saw Megan sitting near the back of the room and sat down next to her, ears pink from earlier. Cody walked in and glanced across the room, eyes stopping at Laura for two seconds then finding Danny. He walked over and sat by him who was one row in front of us... Coincident? Probably not. Mneeiah... I don't care. I glanced at the board, Friday, May, steaming hot, parents totally rude, horrible day. Of course Laura knew it could get much worse than it already was. But hey, at least it was raining to help with the heat... Except this school had outdoor hall ways and it was only fifth hour. She tried to leave that thought and think of something else, her ADD getting the best of her. Her mind slowly returning to the thought of Cody. She glanced at him and he looked at her too, emediatly causing her
to look away. Mrs. Glaze looked at her and smiled. She then asked Laura about some question on the assignment. She quickly answered and went back to daydreaming. Knowing how Mrs. Glaze worked. She wouldn't call on her till tomorrow if she didn't volunteer or give her a reason. She continued her daydream thinking of three nights at Kara's house. It'll be fun! She thought. Though something was nagging at her Kara's parents were kinda mean too. The final decision before the Bell rang was that they would help each other through any problems. Next was science, then world history, then tag. She sat in her usual seat that just happened, unfortunately, to be by Cody's. Luckily, almost all her friends sat by her. I'm going to survive this last hour. Whether it ends well or not.
