Thunder boomed overhead and a flash of lightning hit a boulder right in front of Brownfang. Flames engulfed the boulder. Startled Brownfang stood there. "Move Brownfang!" Littlestem, a small tabby tom yowled, and jumped back as the boulder knocked flames on the ground. Brownfang stood frozen in fear as fire surrounded him. The thunder rose again, this time leaving rain drops to fall. After the fire was put out by the rain Littlestem stared in shock of the lifeless body of Brownfang lying limp under the weight of the several rocks. "Brownfang! Get up! Get up!" Littlestem nudged his body a couple times. Nothing. He raced back to camp to fetch Bluewhisker and Clawstar. They returned to the spot where the burnt Brownfang laid, along with rocks crumbled on top of him. "What happened?!" Clawstar hissed under his breath, the fur on his back rised. "Lightning struck the boulder but he didn't budge. I called for him and everything. By the time I thought to help it was to late. A lot of rocks had already fell. If I would have moved it would have smushed and killed me too." The tabby shivered as he thought of what happened.
"Clawstar. It's a prophecy. The stone will kill. But the flames will burn the stone. Leaving ashes scattered." Bluewhisker meowed, her eyes filled with fear. Clawstar looked at Brownfangs body. Lets get him back to camp we will have his vigil tonight. *moments later*
The two toms gently set Brownfangs body in the grassy part of the clearing. Swiftpaw and Fishpaw sat near the apprentices den. Clawstar leaped up to pointed stones, most of the cats had already began to come out of their dens, and a patrol had just arrived as Clawstar began to speak. "We have lost another one of our beloved warrior. Brownfang was killed by falling rocks. We will sit vigil for him at sunset." And with that Clawstar leaped off the rocks, letting pebbles fall down. There was whispers among the clan.
