At any given point in time after birth, you will have a string appear on your pinky.
A dark red string means you will be deeply in love.
A bright pink string means you will be in love.
A yellow string means you may hate your pair at first.
A deep, midnight blue string means you will never get along unless a miracle takes place.

No one wanted the last string of fate.

Thankfully, Haze and Tsubaki got the deep red color and another rarity.

The interesting thing that occured was Haze outside, sitting on a park bench while staring at the vast sea of nothingness. Walking by, Tsubaki stopped right in his tracks when he felt a string tie around his finger.

The string was a deep red color mixed with the pink, which surprised both males once they saw it. Tsubaki made his way towards Haze, but Haze cowardly scooted away.
