Chapter 2

*3rd POV*

Bill was walking home. "He thrusts his fists against the posts... He thrusts his fists against..." Bill said but he only kept stuttering. "Shit! P-Post." Bill said as he arrived home pushing his bike up the driveway.

Ever since his brother's disappearance, nothing at home as been the same. Bill approached the garage to see his father working, who turned to look at him as Bill propped up his bike. "Need some help? I..." Bill said but stopped as he saw his father's look.

"I thought we agreed." His father said looking at him. Bill looked at his structure of pipes. "Before you say anything--" Bill said but was cut off. "Bill." His father said. "Just let me show you something first." Bill stuttered as he walked to the pipes and grabbed the hose.

His father water as he put a figure in the pipes, before pushing the handle on the hose, where water began coming out and pushing the figure away from the entrance and to one of the exits Bill had set up, causing Bill to turn the hose off and look at his father.

"The Barrens. It's the only place that G-G-Georgie could have ended up." Bill said. "He's gone, Bill." His father said looking at his son. "But if the storm swept Georgie in, we should have gone--" Bill said but was cut off.

"He's gone! He's dead! He's dead! There is nothing we can do! Nothing!" His father said as Bill held back his tears. "Now take this down before your mother sees it." His father said before walking to the wall of the garage.

"Next time you wanna take something from my office...ask." His father said taking down a map and walking out of the garage. Bill looked at a hamster in a cage. "I guess you get your tunnels back." Bill said quietly as the hamster was climbing the side of the cage.

Mike was riding his bike down the road and into town to deliver some meat for his grandfather. He rode through Derry before stopping outside a store but as he went to get the meat, he saw Bowers and his group causing him to go down the alley to hide.

"Oh, Jesus..." Mike muttered before he moved his bike to lean it against something as he looked through the meat before grabbing the right ones before he heard a soft growl. He turned to see a chained door before a burned hand reached out and began screaming his name, making Mike breath heavily as he remembered his past before the hands pulled back inside.

The door slammed open as Mike looked and saw something looking at him. The thing waved at him with glowing eyes before he heard tires screeching and he turned to see Bowers and his group. He jumped out of the way of the car as Bowers stood up.

"Get the fuck outta my town!" Bowers screamed as Belch flipped Mike off. Bowers threw his cigarette at Mike, and he watched them drive off. He heard a noise causing him to jump, only to see a man wiping his hands on a towel. "Mike? Are you okay?" The man asked. Mike breathes shakily.

Stan was reciting in Hebrew due to him being Jewish as his father listened. Rabbi Uris continues the parts in Hebrew that Stan could not say as Stan listened. "You're not studying, Stanely. How's it going to look? The rabbi's son can't finish his own Torah reading. Take the book to my office. Obviously, you're not using it." Stan's father said as Stan closed the book.

Stan walked into his father's office as he covered side of his face to not look at the painting, but he ended up doing that anyways. He saw a woman with a twisted face, and he straightened the painting before walking to the bookshelf and putting the book up.

A loud thud was heard and Stan turned to see the painting on the ground. He walked towards it as the lights flickered and turned off. He shakily picked the painting up and put it back on the wall only to see the woman not there.

He breathes shakily and a door opened and he heard a flute playing. A thud was heard behind him and he turned. He saw the woman from the painting, the woman smiled at him with many sharp teeth, causing Stan to run out screaming and slamming the door.

*My POV*

We were at Eddie's house taking all his snacks. "Take everythin' but the Delicious Deals, guys. My mom loves them. Hey! First you said the Barrens, and now you're saying the sewer. I mean, what if we get caught?" Eddie asked.

"We won't, Eds." Bill said. "The sewers are public works. We're the public, aren't we?" I asked as Bill and I kept raiding the same cabinet as Richie had moved onto another one. "Hey, Eddie, these your birth control pills?" Richie asked as Eddie turned to face him.

"Yeah, and I'm saving it for your sister. This is private stuff." Eddie said as he and Richie began arguing as me and Bill watched. We began walking to the front door as Eddie grabbed a pill bottle, putting it in his fanny pack before we were stopped.

"Eddie Bear, where are you boys and girl off to in such a rush?" Mrs. K asked as she looked at us from doing her nails. "Um...Just my backyard, Mrs. K. I got a new..." Bill stutters before Richie spoke. "A new croquet set. Jeez, spit it out, B-B-Bill!" Richie said mocking the stutter, causing me to elbow him harshly, causing him to winch.

Mrs. K looked at us suspiciously. "Okay. Oh, and sweetie, don't go rolling around on the grass. Especially if it's just been cut. You know how bad your allergies can get." Mrs. K said looking at us. "Yes, mom. Let's go." Eddie said but as we went to walk out she spoke up again.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" She asked and Eddie seemed to be embarrassed before he walked to her side and kissed her cheek quickly before walking back over to us. Richie chuckles. "Do you want one from me too, Mrs. K?" Richie asked before Eddie began pushing us out the door.

"No, no, no. Sorry, Mommy." Eddie said as we were out the door and soon riding our bikes through town. Stan soon joined us as we rode through town.

*3rd POV*

Ben was sitting in the library writing a poem for Beverly. It said, "Your hair is winter fire, January embers, my heart burns there too" -Secret Admirer. "Your hair is winter fire, January embers..." Ben read softly before he heard voices outside. He saw Bill, Richie, Eddie, Stan, and Izzy riding their bikes loudly down the road.

Suddenly a book was slammed down, snapping Ben out of it. "Found it. Isn't it summer vacation? I would think you'd be ready to take a break from the books." The Librarian said. "I like it in here." Ben told her.

"A boy should be spending his summer outside with friends. Don't you have any friends?" She asked him. "Can I have the book now?" Ben asked annoyed. She tapped it and walked away. Ben opened the book to see moments in time for Derry.

He flipped through them, but as he did, he kept seeing a face. A clown one. But as he kept flipping through it, he saw it zooming in on a picture of a tree, and as he kept turning, he saw a boy's head in the tree.

He slammed the book shut and as he looked up, he heard a girl's giggle and turned. Only to hear a music box, as he turned, he saw a red balloon floating. But it seemed like no one else had noticed this.

He got up and began to follow the balloon, but as he did, he saw an egg waiting. He walked towards it and saw steam coming from it. He kept walking and found more eggs. He appeared somewhere only employees were allowed and picked up one of the last eggs, when the electricity began flickering.

He heard something behind him and turned around to see someone, but as the person walked down the stairs, he was headless and carrying eggs. Ben stared in shock. Suddenly the body began chasing Ben who ran for his life.

He kept running. "Egg boy." A voice said and he turned to see a clown. He bumped into the librarian who looked at him shocked. "What on earth are you doing?" She asked him. He breathes heavily as he looked around before he rushed up the stairs.

| Outside |

Ben walked across the grass. "Where are you off to, tits?" Bowers asked causing Ben to turn around. He began to run, but was soon caught. "Gotcha." Someone said. Soon Bowers and his group dragged Ben to a bridge that had a lot of carvings into it.

"Wait. Leave me alone!" Ben said. "Fucking hold him." Bowers told his friends. They kept dragging him before they pinned him to the side of the bridge. "Let me light his hair, like Michael Jackson." Patrick said as he sprayed hairspray on a lighter flame, making a blowtorch.

"Get off me! Get off me!" Ben screamed but a car was approaching and they all looked at it. "Help! Help!" Ben screamed but the car drove by and Ben saw a red balloon in the back seat of the car.

Suddenly Bowers punched Ben causing his nose to bleed. His ears were ringing before they cleared up. "Okay, new kid. This is what us locals call the Kissing Bridge. It's famous for two things. Sucking face, and carving names." Bowers said as he got his knife off, and lifting Ben's shirt.

"Henry, please." Ben begged, before Bowers began carving an 'H' into Ben's skin causing him to scream in pain. "Whoa, whoa! Henry!" Belch said not liking this. "Shut up! I'm gonna carve my whole name onto this cottage cheese!" Bowers said.

Ben suddenly pushed Bowers with his foot, causing him to go over the side of the bridge and down the hill. He grunts as he goes down. "I'm gonna cut your fucking tits off. I swear to God!" Bowers yelled before jumping over the side of the bridge following Ben down they all followed Henry, and Ben took off running.

As they all got to the bottom, Bowers realized something. "My knife. My old man will kill me!" Bowers said as he began looking for his knife before facing Patrick and Belch. "You two get him!" He shouted causing them to go after Ben before he faced Vic Criss. "Move your fucking ass!" He shouted.

Ben kept running as he was bruised and bloodied up. He came across some water and began running. Patrick sent Belch one way and while he went the other, hoping to find Ben faster. Ben ran through the water, trying to get away as fast as he could, even while bleeding out.

*My POV*

"I don't know. I guess." Eddie said as we got off our bikes. "That's poison ivy. And that's poison ivy. And that's poison ivy." Stan said pointing to multiple plants. Bill and I were standing at the entrance to one of the sewer pipes.

"Where? Where's the poison ivy?" Eddie asked panicked. "Nowhere. Not every fucking plant is poison ivy, Stanley." Richie said as he joined me and Bill. "Okay, I'm starting to get itchy now and I'm pretty sure this is not good for my--" Eddie said but was cut off.

"Do you use the same bathroom as your mother?" Richie asked as Bill and I walked in a little with our flashlights. "Sometimes, yeah." Eddie said. "Then you probably have crabs." Richie said. "That's so not funny." Eddie said.

"Perfect time to face my fear. Walking down a dark... scary sewer tunnel." I muttered to myself as Bill and I kept walking. "Here." Bill said as he offered his hand. I glanced at him before putting my hand into Bill's.

Bill shined his flashlight as we kept walking. Richie stopped and turned to see Stan and Eddie still standing outside. "Aren't you guys coming in?" Richie asked. "Uh-uh. It's greywater." Eddie said.

"What the hell's greywater?" Richie asked. "It's basically piss and shit." I said as my voice echoed as I walked with Bill. "So, I'm just telling you, you guys are splashing around in millions of gallons of Derry pee. So... a-are you serious? What are you--" Eddie asked as I turned to see Richie smelling a stick.

"Doesn't smell like caca to me, senor." Richie said in a Spanish accent as Bill kept walking. "Okay, I-I can smell that from here." Eddie said. "That's probably your breath just wafting back into your face." Richie said as Eddie scoffed.

"Have you ever heard of a staph infection?" Eddie asked Richie annoyed as they kept arguing like a married couple. "Oh, I'll show you a staff infection." Richie said as I watched Richie throw sewer trash at Eddie to annoy him.

Bill turned to look at us. "Guys!" He said shutting Eddie up as we turned to see him holding a shoe. "Shit. Don't tell me that's..." Stan began but Bill shook his head. "No. G-G-Georgie wore galoshes." Bill said.

"Whose sneaker is it?" Eddie asked. Bill shined his light inside the shoe. "It's Betty Ripsom's." I said facing them. "Oh, shit. Oh, God. Oh, fuck! I don't like this." Eddie said. "How do you think Betty feels? Running around these tunnels with only one frickin' shoe?" Richie asked but we all looked at him unimpressed.

"What if she's still here?" Stan asked causing me, Bill, and Richie to walk a little bit further. "Eddie, come on!" Richie said. "My mom will have an aneurysm, if she finds out that we're playing down here. I'm serious." Eddie said.

"Eddie, stop being a fucking puss. I'm a chick and I'm even walking through this shitty water." I told Eddie. "Bill?" Eddie asked as we all looked at him. "If... If I was Betty Ripsom, I would want us to find me. G-G-Georgie too." Bill said.

"What if I don't want to find them? I mean, no offense, Bil, but I don't want to end up like... I don't wanna go missing either." Eddie said. "He has a point." Stan said. "Y-Y-You too?" Bill asked. "It's summer. We're supposed to be having fun. This isn't fun. This is scary and disgusting." Stan said when we heard a loud splash, scaring the shit out of all of us.
