Likewise Ethen also found a way to make a place for himself in the core of her heart.

" where are you all taking me? Did u decorate my room ? Wow, I can smell pizza!! Mom when did u learn to cook this?" Said Jane with excitement in a curious voice.

As the blind fold was removed Jane was amazed seeing where she was. She found herself in a private jet and all her friends there including Ethen's gang. But Jane couldn't see Ethen. On top of it, Jane was unaware that it was arranged by Ethen.

In order to cheer up Jane and to extend the hand of friendship towards Jane Ethen planned a holiday with all friends in school including Jane.

Ethen took Jane and others to his holiday beach house in an wonderful island.

During the holiday Jane could feel Ethen's feelings for her yet she was in doubt. She just didnt know what to do. She waited long enough for Ethen to express his feelings but he never did. She was just too confused thinking about Ethen all day. Always analysing every behaviour of Ethen with her. Every time Jane was sure Ethen likes her, the next moment Ethen needs to do something which made Jane realise she was just a friend for Ethen. Thus, Jane remained silent. She decided if Ethen actually likes her then he will speak up. If they are meant to be then the universe will intervene and unite them. Jane felt very helpless as she had nothing to do in this situation. After the holiday, they all went back to their old life and Jane closed the chapter of Ethen forever as he never liked her.

Exactly a year has rolled on!
Though Ethen's chapter was locked in a hidden treasure box by Jane herself, she would never call it a day without a sneakpeak into it, whenever jer heart craved a little pain. She had stopped all communication with Ethen and Ethen never tired to keep the connection with her.

Earth had completed its orbit around the Sun since the time we last spoke. It was spring again! It seemed her the chirping of the birds called for some reconciliation. This time Jane ran out of her fingures to  calculate. She just could not stop herself. She decided to give in to her urgue of expressing her feelings to Ethen.

Jane called Ethen exactly on the day when they stopped talking.
"Ethen Hi, this is Jane! It's been a year since we last spoke. How are you?" asked Jane with a shaky voice.

"Hey, Jane how have you been? I am good!
You just stopped talking to me suddenly and you didn't reply to any of my messages. I am sure there were some misunderstandings. "

"Ethen I called you today to clear the misunderstandings,
I like you Ethen. I always did. It was always you I have loved. I know I was always a friend for you. Dont worry we will be friends but I just needed to express my feelings to you."
Jane hung up

Did Jane actually get her peace of mind that she was looking for in this or it kindled a new expectation within her, even she doesn't know. Subconsciously she had enrolled herself in another waiting cycle which would probably lead her nowhere.
