Run, Jem, Run, you can do it! Jem tried to motivate herself to run faster. Panting, she finally arrived at the finish line, where Jason was.

"Wow, you just ran ten laps!" exclaimed Jason. "Didn't I say to not overdo it?" he remarked jokingly.

Jem felt like she would never get up again if she sat down, so she decided to stay standing, even though she was exhausted.

"It's okay you can sit down."

Jem began to wonder if Jason could read minds too, but she was too tired to think too much about it and collapsed onto the grassy field. She changed to a gray color to show her tiredness. (You didn't forget she could change the color of her fur, right?)

"Jem, if you tuck your tail down and shorten your wide steps when you run, you could go much faster without being as tired." Jason started. "You can try it when you are done resting."

Jem nodded. This is what Natalie meant by he is one of the best instructors. He sure gives good advice...but then she thought, How does he know my name? I didn't even tell anyone. He MUST be able to read minds. I can ask him about it later.

For the rest of the day, Jem practiced her form very hard. She realized that Jason's advice was true and it had helped her a lot. She knew that she had to practice a lot to be the best and dedicate lots of time to training.

"Let's go, Jem. It's almost time to sleep." Jason said a while after Jem finished dinner.

Jem turned into a sleepy light blue color and went off to bed. I'm sure glad that Jason is here to train me.
