Chase's POV
"Ya know I am gonna call Stacy to see if she would be ok if I adopted Emily!" I said to the nurse and walked out to the commons of the hospital.
Phone call (C: Chase, S: Stacy)
C: Hi Stacy
S: yes Chase?
C: quick question
S: what Chase?
C: there is a girl at the hospital who needs a family and I want to adopt her so bad
S: wait hold up you think you are right for her because?
C: because I am great with kids and she and I clicked even Henrik agrees with me
S: she has to meet me and the kids first otherwise she can't come over and hangout with the kids or come to holidays
C: fine I will prove to you she is so sweet I am going to talk to her about it right now. Bye
S: bye
Call ended
I put my phone in my pocket and head back to the room where Emily was staying in. I open the door to hear her laughing at her computer.
"Hey Champ!" I said smiling at her
"Hey Chase. What are you doing back here I thought you had something going on today?"
"No I just had to call my ex wife to ask her if she would be ok if I ya know adopted you." I looked at her nervously.
"And......" she said looking at me for the answer.
"She said she has to meet you first and so do the kids!" I smiled at her and we hugged. Once we let go from the hug I brought her downstairs to get ice cream and we talked about my kids and ex wife for a while. I brought Emily back upstairs and tucked her in bed and fell asleep next to her.

Hey guys sorry for a later update I was trying to figure out what else to write for this chapter and I was working all day and on top of that it is my birthday so I got distracted with all of that but I hope you have fun reading this chapter.
