Chase's POV

As we leave Stacy's I hold Emily's hand and I smile at her knowing that tomorrow she would be my daughter. Once we reach the car I open the door for her and she gets in. I slowly walk to the drivers seat looking at the ground and letting my feet drag along the floor. Each step feeling heavier than the last. Once I finally reach the drivers seat I feel a jolt in my side.
"OWW!!" I look over and see Emily laughing.
"Did you just jumper cable me missy?" I laughed as she slowly backed away knowing what would happen next.
"No it was a....... a frog!" She lied.
"Oh really? Ok let's go home!" I smirk and we head back to the hospital.
*Skip drive*
We reach the hospital and Emily is asleep so I carried her into her room and put her in the bed and laid next to her. When the sneaky girl got me again and that is when the full blown tickle war broke out. By the end of it we were both laughing and out of breath. We fell asleep and didn't wake up until later the next day. When I woke up I walked to the main office to first get coffee and then fill out paperwork to adopt Emily. Once I did that I walked into her half room with Jack and saw she was reading or writing a book. I went up to her and told her the news she was so excited about it.
