JACOB POINT OF VIEW

I feel ice cold water fall upon me, I immediately wake up. "Man, I've been carving this bowl for fifteen minutes just so I could do that." She said smiling at me. Where did she even get the water?

The lake.

"Cool, can I see?" I asked sincerely. I think she wants to get soaked as well...she's asking for it. "Nope." She said walking away.

"Why?" I asked following her. She stops and turns around giving me a knowing look. "Because I know why you want the bowl, and no I do not want to get soaked." That was creepy. How exactly did she know I was thinking exactly that?

Pretty predictable what I was planning to do.

"I was actually planning to drink the water, no worries I'll waterfall." She looks over at me like she's doesn't believe me.

Good instincts.

After a while I felt weird under her gaze, but she finally gave it to me. "I'm going to look for food, I'll be back." No!

You know what, fine, if that's how you want to play it.

I scoop up some water, and carefully go the way I thought she went. I keep walking only hearing birds chirping. Where did she go?

After fifteen minutes I hear someone behind me. "Looking for me?" I immediately turn around trying to pour the water on her except she dodged it last minute. "Okay Jacob I'm going to look for food. Do you want to help or play around?" She turned around, and started walking not waiting for me to respond. I'll get her back eventually.

"Wait up!" I shouted after her. She turns around waiting for me.

"What, you don't want to go back, and relax?" She asked really hopeful when I got to her. I smile to her. "Now where's the fun in that?" She gives me a small smile, and moves forward. Besides if we're both together, and have a surprise attack there will be two of us to fight it off.

After several minutes of just walking in silence I had enough. "Okay Emma, I'm sorry for trying to soak you, please stop ignoring me, and just talk, say anything." She looks over at me. "First of all I wasn't ignoring you I'm just trying to find food for my stomach to be satisfied, but I'm touched that you care so much."

Care? No, I just couldn't take the silence anymore.

"Whatever, as long as you're talking to me I'm good." She keeps walking away, but I saw a smile forming.

We walked for about forty five minutes talking about what happened yesterday. She even said that we should have at least bought food in the city to go, she's right about that.

"Hey Emma?" She looks over at me. Okay I have her undivided attention just ask her. "Um, I don't... you know what, never mind it's not important." But it is! If she's human how did she have powers the very first time I saw her in this planet. I need to know, but I don't want offend her in any way.

"Okay, now you have to tell me. What's up?" Her green eyes staring intensely into mine. Wait I could have sworn they were yellow in Xoruma. Okay I've officially lost it, she had green eyes this whole time, and I didn't connect the dots until recently.

What if she did have yellow eyes in Xoruma? That would explain why I never noticed.

Okay eyes changing colors?! I'm going insane!

"Emma, what color eyes did you have in Xoruma?"

EMMA POINT OF VIEW

Snap, he's getting somewhere. He knows that my eyes were...not green, you know what no he doesn't, just drop the issue.

"Okay Jacob I don't have time for your games. I'm starving so bad that if I don't eat soon I'm planning on eating grass. Let's just focus on finding food." I look over at him. His face looks disappointed as I dropped the issue, but I see he's debating on something.

"Can I ask you something else?" He asked a little worried. I don't know what it was, but the way he asked me, I found myself saying "yeah." Why would I say that? What if it leads into my past...the past I lied to him about.

"If you're human, then how do you have powers? The very first time I saw you in this world you used fire powers, but how?" He doesn't look afraid, but definitely nervous. "Are you afraid of me?" I asked curious. He looks up at me, and stares for a moment, but felt like a lifetime.

"Not of you, the answer." He said getting a little more anxious to know. "It was this machine I built." I point down at my wrist to show him the machine. He immediately relax, and marvels at my invention. "How did you make that? Did they teach you in Xoruma? They never taught us this. Could you show me how it works? How did you create something like that?"

"Slow down there buddy. I was always good with making stuff so when I heard all four villains had fire power... I had to use what I got. There was a nearby dumpster were I got all this stuff, and put it together..."

He looks at me crazily as if he doesn't believe what he's seeing. "How did you get the fire in the machine? Okay how did you do this?!" Yeah, when he puts in that way it does sound crazy. "At the dumpster there was a fire pit, and coals so yeah."

He puts his hand through his hair mind blown. "That Emma is a true art. It's amazing. Can you still show me?" He asked.

"Fine." I threw an fireball at him, which he dodges. "Okay Jacob. I want you to throw one at me." I put on my game face, but he doesn't like the idea. "I dont know Emma..."

"Come on chicken just once." I said jokingly.

"You asked for it." He said getting his game face on as well, but a smile was forming. I hit the right switch, and my machine sucked in his fireball giving me more energy to throw one of my own, but decide against it. "Okay, I'm not even going to ask how you did it, but let me just say your amazing." He said smiling to me.

"We're both amazing, but let's go I'm still hungry." I said trying to stop the smile forming, but he already saw it.
