Ziva slowly tilted her head to see who attacked her. From her hazy vision Ziva could make out a slim but fit man wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

The strange man roughly grabbed her wrists and and cuffed them with the handcuffs he pulled from her pocket. Using rope, he bound her ankles tightly.

"Who are you?" Ziva managed to mutter as she watched the red liquid pool below her head grow.

Without acknowledging her question, the man stepped over her and grabbed her waist. She struggled against his strong hands as he lifted her up with ease and tossed her over his shoulder. Using the remaining strength left in her petite body, she elbowed him in the neck multiple times. She suddenly left a needle-like pain in the back of her thigh making her almost instantly fall unconscious.

At 0800 sharp, Gibbs charged into the bull pen greeted by two of his three agents.

"Where's David?" He barked glancing at the empty desk.

Tony and McGee glanced at each other. "Umm... We don't know." McGee said slowly.

"Well! DiNozzo call her!!" He yelled starting to get slightly worried.

Tony fumbled with his phone and hit speed dial 1. "Boss, her phone is turned off." Tony said nervously. After the previous nights conversation, Tony was worried on why her phone would be turned off.

"McGee trace it." Ordered Gibbs knowing that somthing was seriously wrong.

"I should be able to get a trace if..." McGee said quickly as he began furiously typing on his computer. Suddenly, he stopped. "The battery has been removed."

Before Gibbs had to signal to him where they were going, Tony grabbed his gear and started for the elevator.

"Waiting for in invite McGee?" Growled Gibbs as he followed Tony.

"No boss," McGee stammered following behind his boss and his partner.

When they arrived at Zivas apartment, the team stopped at the door to see smeared dried blood on the white door frame.

"No..." Tony whispered starring at he bright red blood .

Gibbs turned the silver doorknob expecting it to be locked, when it wasn't he pushed it opened and rushed inside.

"Clear!" McGee yelled after searching the spare bedroom.

"Boss... you need to come and look at this!" Tony crooked from the bedroom.

"What is it, Tony?" He asked walking in, expecting the worst.

"There's a blood...puddle." He said slowly standing over a medium sized blood puddle by the head of the queen sized bed.

Gibbs barked out orders, and McGee was on the phone within seconds of discovering the scene. Tony on the other hand stood in shock, his heart pounding up his throat and through his ears.

"Tony," a calm voice said. A hand softly rested on his shoulder.

"She's..." Tony whispered still in shock.

"Think positive." McGee said sighing then heading out the bedroom door.

Gibbs followed him, leaving Tony alone. He looked up and traced every corner of the room with his eyes. He walked out and stood at the end of the bed, memories from years before flooding his mind.

Tony shook his head and walked out of the bedroom.

Back at NCIS headquarters, Tony walked into Abby's lab with the box of evidence. "Abby!" He yelled. There was no music but there was also no Abby.

"In here," She called through tears. Abby was huddled in the corner of her office with Burt the Farting Hippo when Tony entered the room.

"Abby," he whispered putting an arm around her, sliding down the wall to sit next to her.

"Is it true? Is it true that...that Ziva is gone?" She cried pulling the hippo closer making him make the farting noise.

"Yes, I'm sorry Abby but it looks like she was kidnapped." Tony sighed wrapping an arm around her.

"Do you have the evidence?" She asked standing up and wiping away the tears.

"Yeah, in the box. There is blood, and a few fingerprints we need you to analyze." Answered Tony following Abby out of her office.

"Thanks now please go do your job and get her back!!" She said in the worst happy voice she could muster.
