4 Years Later

When the girls and I were around 14, we saw a flyer on the bulletin board, where news, upcoming events, or others things to announce, about a secret organization, Lovely Killer's. It didn't say much about what they do, I took an interest except Momoko and Miyako, telling me that it might be a scam. They still followed me to the place where the organization stated where they'llbe in the depths of the forest near the town. Finding the hideout was quite tricky, but worth. It was underground, meeting up with surprised looks then greeting us kindly. The leader told us about their organization which they were assassins. Their rule is don't kill without a true reason. The good type of assassins that kill off the bad. I became an assassin. Momoko and Miyako had no choice, but to follow me. They later regret saying they doubted the organization and thinking it was a scam. It took us a year to train which amazed everyone since we did have a bit experience in fighting. People send a request by a special bird to deliver to the hideout. The organization is quite well-known throughout the country.

This is us now, the girls and I have turned 18, ready to be let go to become adults, but the children doesn't let us go though. The girls and I were stuck with children on our ankles.

"HENRY! LET GO!"

"KAORUU! I'm gonna miss big sis! You have to teach me more fighting things!" Cried Henry.

"Miyako..will you be sending us letters?" Said a crying brunette girl.

"Of course I will, but it'll be hard to send when I get busy, Hanna." Said Miyako.

"Momoko, are you sure you'll be okay? You're going to cry about us." Said the little boy.

"Jack..Just wait til I leave. You'll be the one crying." Said Momoko, lightly pinching his cheeks.

Maria came into the room, clapping her hands as the kids went to her side.

"It'll be less lively once you girls leave." Said Maria.

"Aye." Said Miyako.

"Thank you Maria for taking care of us. We appreciate you." Said Momoko.

"You kids better not be down when we're gone. Make everyday fun and cherish those moments and this moment."

The kids started to cry louder, crying out our names as Maria gave us the signal to leave and that she'll take care of everything. We left the building with our things Maria has prepared for us then headed to the hideout.

"I miss them already." Said Miyako.

"No more fun and games. Things will start becoming serious once we start our job as assassins."

"Right.." Said Momoko.

We arrived at the hideout to be congratulated by the crew. There was a feast which confused us because they would be usually doing paperwork or plans. A girl with short faded green hair, came to us and handed us each a box.

"What's this for, Annie?"

"This is for being an official assasins and celebration for being adults." Said Annie.

"What's in the box?" Said Miyako.

"Those are your clothes of being an official member of the organization." Said Annie as she pointed over to the ladies restroom.

I make my way to the food table, but Miyako and Momoko grabs me to try on the clothing. As we fitted into the clothing(steampunk), Momoko wore a goggles on her head, a brown glove on her left hand, an ivory buttoned up sleeve shirt with a red stringed bow tie, suspenders clipped onto fitted grey jeans, a weapon belt that fell from her waist to her hip and a brown buckled knee boots; Miyako wore a black corset skirt, a white buttoned sleeveless shirt with a blue string bow tie, black stockings with a black weapon belt on her thigh, and brown mid-length boots. I wore goggles on my head, a white short sleeves shirt that I made my collars pop out, a green string bow tie , a black vest, brown fingerless gloves, black shorts with a brown weapon belt, high thigh black stockings and mid-length brown, laced boots.

"Our leader wants to talk to you girls." Said Annie as she pointed the direction where our leader is at. We walked in the direction, to see him looking at the job listing board then he notices us coming his way.  Our leader, young, has an eye patch on his right eye and revealing his emerald left eye, silver hair and has a nice body is named Edward also Momoko finds him attractive.

"Girls! Congrats on being adults and new recruits, the girls being the best trained assassins so far." Said Edward.

"So Annie said you need a talk with us."

"Right. Since you're here, you got a job which is easy for girls like you." Said Edward as he rips off the paper from the board then folded it," take out a group of thugs that's heading to a small village that's southeast from us."

"That's very offensive, easy for girls like us." Said Miyako.

"I meant to joke around, Miyako." Said Edward.

"Easy?!" Said Momoko.

"Calm down, it's the easy one I can give you. Also it's not like I assigned you to defeat a dragon or something." Said Edward.

"When will they be there?" Said Miyako.

"I don't know. Figure it out yourselves. I can't always provided the information." Said Edward," Buut, it's best to go there now. I have horses ready for you girls outside."

"But...the food!"

"That's also the funny part, get the job done before we finish it." Said Edward with a smile. I started to run out with the girls following me. We get on the brown horses and headed south east of the town. With the horses, the green horizon had formed a small grey bump, getting closer to the village. Arriving at the village to see that everyone's lives were lively even as to see us especially the children who were amazed to see horses. The thing that stood out from the village was the tower.

"What brings you girls to the village?" Said a woman.

"We've been sent here because a group of thugs would be arrving here."

"A-ah..right, our watch tower guard sent it." Said the women.

"Is there any warning from the watchman tower?" Said Momoko.

"He said he'll ring the bell twice." Said the woman.

"Then we advise you to stay in one house for now so no one would get hurt separately." Said Miyako.

The woman nodded her head then started to gather the few people around. The bell rung twice suddenly, everyone ran into the same house while the girls and I were outside the village as the group of men on horses charged then slowed down with the sights of us. The man who supposedly is the leader rose a white and black horse and led 3 men, giving a smirk.

"Young ladies are blocking the village. We're here to do..business.." Said the leader.

"Get away from here, now" Said Momoko.

"Hold it there beautiful miss, I know you want to protect this precious village of yours, but you need to step aside before things get too messy." Said the leader.

"Gah! All this talk is nonsense!"

I jumped, kicking him off the horse as the horse was frightened, but one of his men got a hold of his horse. The 3 men got off their horses, charging at us with swords, swinging recklessly at us. Miyako gracefully knocks over one yet still comes back up, Momoko is dodging the leader's and one of the men's attacks, and I successfully knocking out the 4th male. Miyako and I went out to help Momoko, but had the leader in a head lock and onto the ground. I carried three unconscious men back onto the horses with Miyako and Momoko bringing the leader to the horses.

"Please don't come again and I mean it." Said Miyako.

The leader didn't say anything, dashes off with the horses and we returned to the village with the people applauding us.

"Thank you girls. I'll be sending a message to your chief." Said the woman.

After the children congratulating us, I hurried back to the horses with Momoko and Miyako sighing. As we got back, I hurried down just to see Edward finishes the last food item on the table: steak. I cried internally.

"You girls did well for the first job. I'll award you know." Said Edward as he clapped his hand.  Boxes came flying in the room, parking right in front of the girls and I. I had my hands under the box as it gently falls into my hand. It felt very hot, thinking it would be another prank of his, but seeing a piece of steak and a single piece of chicken wing. Are you joking me? A single piece of a tiny chicken wing? Momoko got a piece of cake and Miyako got a balanced meal, but I appreciate him and everyone in the organization. Excited I am for more missions to come.
