It had been a few years since Ahsoka Tano had met Rahm Kota on that fateful day on Cyrillia.

Since then, she had followed him as her new Jedi Master. He had restarted her formal training, with the aim of completing it, in addition to honing other skills useful to a life of hiding in plain sight.

Mechanical repairs, tech splicing, blaster work and many other skills had been imparted onto her by Kota in the past five years that they had been together in addition to more and more advanced Jedi techniques that she would not have learned had they not met one another.

And whilst she was very grateful for his guidance and teachings, she still missed and longed for the little brother that had been in Caleb Dume.

Nothing could fill the gap, not even the owl creature she had named Asha that had become her constant companion since shortly after she had met Kota.

It twittered upon her shoulder as she continued to study the schematics of the latest project her Master had her working in. It was intricate and complicated but the challenge that it posed drew her mind away from the sadness that her dear little brother's death always caused.

"Ahsoka," said the rough voice of her Master, startling her out of her thoughts about her assignment.
"Yes Master?" she asked as she looked up of him from the darkened cargo hold floor of their ship.
"We have a new mission," explained Kota as he came down to the hold. Ahsoka cocked her head to the side in a questioning manner as Kota explained further.
"It's an infiltration and information retrieval mission. See what the Empire has planned for the Outer Rim regions around here. Come we're going now."

"Where are we going?" asked Ahsoka, standing up to follow after Kota.

"We're going to Lothal."
